"This was our third stay at this property, and the first under the new name (it was formerly the Pine Knolls Shore Inn). I didn’t see anything really different except for the parking fee of $20 per day. The balcony was very small, and the bathroom faucet looked as if an amateur had replaced it with a whole tube of caulk. But, because I waited too late to book reservations, they were the only facility that offered an ocean view."

"I love this hotel for its amenities and friendly staff. The rooms are really clean for being a beach hotel. I’ve been to some that still have sand everywhere and this locations cleanliness is top tier. They allow you to use the pool and park if you arrive early. They have beach chairs you can sign out for use."

"The hotel was great in some areas and lacking in others. Rooms were large, well appointed and clean, however housekeeping missed cleaning our room one day. The “urban view” was of the parking lot. I would recommend upgrading to the pool view. The restaurant staff ( both wait staff and hostesses) were not trained in fine dining and not very accommodating to their guests requests . Maybe a new restaurant manager is needed. Overall, our stay was pleasant and we would return."

"Staff was great but the room had a permanent cigarette smoke smell. The room updates were purely cosmetic but not necessarily functional. The room looked clean on first appearance but the linens had those dryer marks on them and the toilet had a pee spot on the seat when we first arrived."
