Thank you for the 5 star review. Just to let other travelers know, we are very close to the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens and the 4 mile Scenic Drive. Island Goode's is a 5 minute drive to Old Hilo Town and 12 minutes to the Hilo International Airport.

Aloha Anonymous, We are sorry that someone did not read our listing on Expedia carefully enough before booking the “1st Story Tower in the Trees”. We have 5 rooms and the other 4 are much larger in size 398, 400, 484, and 527sq ft. for a small amount more. The 1st Story room size is listed as 183 sq.ft on our listing. This is our smallest room, cheapest room with an Ocean View. We are 5 minutes from Old Hilo Town and 12 minutes from the airport. We are sorry you didn’t read The “Welcome Letter” that you received and sign for. All the information about your room/property are listed like, 9pm to 9am quite time, park anywhere on our property, even on the grass. Nothing odd about having a microwave on the covered lanai/patio, very common in Hawaii. Check out our outside Tiki Kitchen under the Gazebo, lots of kitchen items. To future Guests, please check out our 3D walk around of our rooms on our site to help make your choice of rooms easier. The more research the better. Just to let future guests know, we are about 5 minutes from Old Hilo town and 12 minutes from the Hilo Airport (ITO). We are not listed on Hotels.com as a Bed and Breakfast. We do not offer breakfast on any 3rd party websites. If you want the option for breakfast, you will have to go to our website and book your room from our secure site, there you can read all about our breakfast option and see if it will work for you.

Aloha Chris, Thanks for the 5 star review. What a great way to explain Island Goode's! We do advertize a more private stay, but we are here for our guests and we do want your stay to be awesome. Thanks for noticing. We build our house as a Guest House, so all rooms have private entries and private bathrooms for a more private stay. We do not have a 24/7 staff, but we have a very easy self-check-in that works great. We do offer breakfast, but only if booked through our website and only during the booking process. We also have a 3D tour of all of our rooms, so you can really see the layout of each room. Thanks again for staying with us and hope to see you again soon! Mahalo

Thank you for the 5 star review. We are glad you had a great time staying with us. To future guests, we do send out an email with written directions 3 times. Once upon making the reservation, another 30 days before your arrival and another the same day of arrival, just in case you forgot to bring your confirmation with you. This also has a link to Google Maps for you to click on and it gives our exact location, so we are very easy to find. Also, Honolii Beach is just 5 minutes away from Island Goode's...sorry you missed it. Also 3 great restaurants are 10 minutes from our location in Old Hilo town. Please come again!
