“Can't wait to go back”

Excellent service. All of the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

Getting around

If you are going to Disneyland just walk there instead of using the ART system. It is only about a 15min walk with nice scenery especially at night time during winter.

“Good value”

This hotel is very good value given it is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the Disney parks. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms are not large but they were clean, and beds were comfy. The breakfast was very basic but reliable if you have cereal , toast and fruit. We got a great rate and felt it was a good choice for our 2 night stay.

“WALK to Downtown Disney!”

We had an excellent stay! Stovall's is directly across the street from Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, and about a 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney! (About 15 minutes to the Disneyland Entrance). The beds were sooo comfortable and the pillows and towels were nice and fluffy. Everything was very clean and fresh. The lobby is a little outdated, but I didn't spend much time there, so it didn't affect my opinion. The only slightly-negative thing was the pretty mediocre (at best) breakfast, but it is free and was sufficient to hold us over until lunch. The morning we were there, they had French Toast sticks, Hockey-pucks and Gravy (I toasted bread instead and made SOS), cold cereal, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, fresh-fruit (apples and oranges), various pastries, juice and coffee. Yes, they could do better, but they could also do A LOT worse, and as I said, it's free and sufficient. I you opt to not eat there, Coco's is right next door.

Area recommendations

Take advantage of Downtown Disney, right there. The AMC Movie theater is beautiful and rarely busy and is a great theater! There are always events happening (we goy to watch Muppet artists, Noah Fine, Dez Einswell and John Chase do their things and sign autographs out in front of D-Street--amazing artists!). There's Build-a-bear, Ride Makers (like Build-a-bear, but remote control vehicles!), all kinds of clothing, and of course, WORLD of DISNEY, along with numerous places to grab a bite to eat.

Getting around

****TIME SAVER NOTE***** (This is the one of the biggest reasons I will stay there from now on): If you already have your ticket/pass to Disneyland, enter the park via the Monorail (about a 7 minute walk from Stovall's). We got there AT park opening, and walked directly on. People don't think about it, so there are HUGE lines at the Maingate when NOBODY'S @ the Monorail station! The Monorail drops you right at Tomorrowland so you also avoid the mass of people running down Main Street USA (and you get your first ride of the day in!).

“Great value for the money!”

We've stayed at several of the hotels/motels surrounding Disneyland and this one was by far the best. The rooms were clean and updated nicely. The walk to Disneyland was convenient (10 minutes, tops!) The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was what you'd expect - nothing fancy, but not bad when you consider it included in your hotel room price. Overall, it was a very good value for the money. We were very satisfied with our stay.

“you get what you pay for”

Not bad but the tv didn't work. Continental breakfast was decent; staff was good. No mini-bar or amenities.

“Great location, close to Disneyland”

Great location, could see Disneyland from our window. The landscaping was nice lots of bushes trimmed to look like Disney characters. Two pools and two hot tubs to cool off/relax in. Hotel was a bit aged looking, however this should not deter you from staying here. Only complaint would be that the beds were to soft we kept waking up in pain. Overall great value, great location! Would definitely stay here again!

“Walking distance to disneyland”

plus: -clean, spacious rooms -let us request an early check in -walking distance to disneyland minus: - uncomfortable bed -customer service ( we requested a roll away bed and it never came. Then we asked to have more coffee/ tea sent, and once again, they said house keeping would come by, and they never did) - worst breakfast i ve ever had. the only thing decent was cold cereal and orange juice

Getting around

The shortest walking distance to disneyland is not following that bike path all the way. Follow it past the first light and then just cut through the big hotel on the right and youll end up right in downtown disney. 5 to 10 minute walk.

“Nice Hotel for Price”

I booked this hotel because of it's close location near Disneyland; it is only about a 10 minute walk to the main entrance. The price was very reasonable. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was pretty tiny but it was ok since we were only there for 2 days. The contintental breakfast was not great but you get what you pay for. Both days they served french toast sticks, cereal, biscuits and gravy and hard boiled eggs. The hotel is very close to Disneyland so of course there was lots of children nearby; unfortunately the walls were very thin and we could hear children in the next room and running up and down the hallways outside. Overall, this is a nice hotel for the money and loved how close it is to Disneyland and would definitely stay there again.
