“Easy,cheap, good place to stay.”

The hotel is right on the hiway to Omaha,Ne only 20min. max. Same with the airport, easy in and out. It's also within 3 blocks up the rd of the best YMCA I've come across! Blair is a small cute town, good breakfast shop, the usual fast food shops and a drive thru coffee shop, all on the main drag. Dana College is interesting to see, nice buildings and Niehaardt park up above Dana is perfect for a walk, either on the pavement or cross country trail. Good place to stay. There is no public transportation, so renting a car at the airport is a good option, that wasn't too expensive either and very convenient.

Though this hotel is little far from the city, it is nice place to stay.

Clean, OK place to stay. Stop and see the Steamboat Bertrand and the DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge.

Served it's purpose, not fancy, but functional.

“Can't recommend”

We drove around trying to find it, no signage coming from Iowa to Nebr. It is older, a bit shop worn, but clean. The staff were friendly, helpful. The thing that really concerned us was the front door had a security card activation for after hours, however both side entrances to the hotel had these locks deactivated and actually had duct tape over the door latches. So they are concerned about safety at the front door but not the back and side through the parking lot? Based on this I could not recommend and would not return.

“Not Very Attractive”

The motel clerk at the desk was helpful and courteous. The outside of the motel looked looked pretty run down. If we had seen the motel before making the reservation, I probably would not have wanted to stay there. Some well-kept shrubs and flowers would greatly improve the place's outside appearance. Also the paved areas were in need of some improvement. Another drawback was, the very small bathroom.

“They went through our things when they cleaned the room”

The day after we checked in, we requested a couple extra towels, the towels were very thin and they had only left one when they cleaned the room. I also have long hair and sometimes use 2. When we received the towels, I stuck them in a drawer so they would not take them upon cleaning. A couple days later when I went to retrieve the towels, they were not there. Sooooo........ someone obviously was going through our things. That was creepy. I let some folks at the school (Dana University) know and I will never stay there again!!!!
