Clean, great location, no maid service or parking

Very nice lady at the desk, very clean room, early check in!!! But NO MAID SERVICE, which we found out on our second day there when our beds weren't made and our towels weren't replenished. No parking. For these reasons, I will not be going back. It's unfortunate, because it was otherwise a very pleasant experience and I couldn't have asked for a better location.

Nice hotel for a getaway

We really enjoyed this hotel. This is the second time we've stayed and the room we were in this time was way nicer! Beach view and a nice bathroom!

very underrated hotel!

I did alot of research on this hotel before booking and i went in with some hesitance, and im glad to say that i was very wrong, this hotel is awesome. First and foremost, the location is unbeatable ( despite no parking for the hotel, make a deal people!) it's a bout a 3 minute walk to the boards/beach. The room was amazingly clean, spotless from top to bottom. The bathroom was that of a 5+ star hotel, tile on every side, an awesome stone bottom floor with rain shower head, and a pretty big sink that you can share if need be. Most people said the room was small, and it kinda was, but that's because the bed is massive, which is not bad at all, plus theres this awesome little nook you can relax and hang out on. The cable was a bit basic, and no internet was a little old, but all in all, definitely a great stay, would do it again. P.S. one final note to anyone looking, the hotel staff does leave at night (....what?) and after 8pm, if you dont have either a keycard or the door key, you are well...up a creek until the next day, which is, to me, really bizarre and thats the one thing i would change if i could.

Small but just ok for the price

Okay for one or two nights max. No way to comfortably watch TV which was mounted fixed to wall. Had to sit on sink to view it straight on. A pivot wall mount would have helped. No towel racks, either. But, it did have a refrigerator (definite plus) and there were plenty of towels.

I had to step up to get into the bathroom. I'm 70 with bad knee's. No partking for two night it caost me $36, and they charge too much. Only deserves a 1.5 at best.

Beautiful room, great location.

My wife and I stayed in room 402. The room was beautiful. Amazing location. Great staff. Our room was owned by an interior decorator and it sure showed. The bed was beyond comfortable. Our location was right in the middle of everything yet our room was nice and quiet. We are planning a return trip very soon.

It was ok it could had been better. The hotel did not have parking, We had to fine parking But the hotel advertise that they had a parking lot. The hotel key did not work to get back in to the building. We're lock out of the building for twenty minutes. My husband and I were not happy with our stay we will not be back also I had to cut my vocation short my mother was sick.. Thank you, signed not happy..

Excellent rooms and service

We were at the hotel for my parents 45th wedding anniversary. The hotel room was beautiful and you could tell it had been recently renovated. The woman at the front desk was so friendly! She helped with accommodations due to my wife's physical disability and made sure to check up on us. The hotel is only a block and a half from the boardwalk, so it is wonderful for getting up to that and the beach. It is a few blocks from Asbury Ave, so even more things to do within a short walk.

The hotel is in a great location and reasonably priced. While the property has some age on it, we found it clean and well-maintained. Beth, the manager, was great to work with. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and accommodate our needs.

Great hotel right next to the beach

Took my family for a weekend at the beach and it was awesome. Everyone that worked there were really nice. Very cute little room but had everything you needed. Would definitely stay there again.

No hotel staff available after hours

I extended my stay 1 night, unfortunately nobody told the computer or my digital key so when I returned the 3rd night after 10 pm my room key did not work. Since there are NO hotel staff available after 10pm and before 9am and NO emergency number posted, I was essentially locked out of my room. I called the only available phone number twice and left messages. The messages were not returned until after I had found and checked into another hotel. The manager did come in and reprogram my room key and refunded me the $50 to cancel the hotel I had just checked into ... I thought I was all set, however, the front door of the hotel is locked at night. The next morning I went out before dawn for my morning walk and sunrise swim and when I got back, you guessed it, the front door key didn't work.

It's close to the beach, but that's about it

We booked this hotel due to it's proximity to the boardwalk (2 blocks away), and that's about all it was good for. I can't see how this could be a good choice for a beach accommodation unless you're planning on going to Ocean City by yourself. It was very noticeable right away that every corner was cut in order to save money in this hotel. The rooms were tiny (smaller than most single bedrooms), and could be cooled by a single, cheap Wal-Mart window AC unit (the cheapest you can find at Wal-Mart, literally like $30). These were pleasantly duct-taped into the window to make sure they didn't fall out. The tiny rooms had a television, but it was literally the smallest TV I've ever seen. The cable is Comcast, of which I'm sure you all have had wonderful experiences with. The beds would have been comfortable, if they had spent a few more dollars on something other than a large, extra rough beach towel for your blanket. Don't worry though, all of the money saved by purchasing the cheapest AC unit and bed stuff was used to buy extra mirrors for a wall. They went ALL OUT in decorating a single wall with over 8 different mirrors. A+++ budgeting. I will say that the staff was very kind, although I only ever saw two staff members, the front desk clerk and a cleaning guy at some point. OH, I almost forgot - parking. There isn't any, but there are two lots ($20-$25 per night) so add that to your expenses when you book here.

Best Family Vacation Spot

I couldn't be more happy with my stay. The room was so cute and homey. Perfect for our quick vacation to one of the best family vacation spots in the US. I've been going to OCNJ since I was a baby and now I got to take my Babies. They had a blast on the boardwalk which is 1 block up. Every morning at 920am the have a flag raising on the boardwalk in front of the waterslides. This is something everyone needs to experience. Will def be back nxt year.

There was no one at the front desk to check in .there was a time sign said be in at 1:00 didn't show up until 2:00. O clock then she left at 5:00 for the day.next day was check out I had to leave early but the women did not come until 10:00 o'clock .totally messed up my travel plans and time to spend with my father on fathers day I was so mad.I never in my life when to a hotel or motel where there was no one at the front desk talk to.what happens if you need ed help some time during your stay .unbelievable. I was so happy that I didn't get stuck in father s day traffic I would not have Been able to check in if I got there after the women left I would not have had a room to stay in.unreal. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Oh then she tried to charge me more than Hotel's. Com.said. so I had to call them about that also.

There is no one at the front desk before 10am or after 5pm. If you need something there is no one available. There is no parking lot so you have to pay to park. No vending machines. Basically your on your own. There are better places there.

the room 504 was very small, and very dated. the bathroom was dirty i had to use a towel inside the tub befoure taking a shower,the bed was very old was making some kind of a noise everytime you would move and the bedspread was dirty.

Dirty but good location

Room was very dirty, but a cute efficiency otherwise. Heavily renovated right now, so no lobby. Fire alarm went off at 2am, but that's not the fault of the hotel. Again, very, very dirty. Good location but housekeeping needs to step it up massively-my wife and I showered with sandals on because we didn't trust the bath and there were stains ALL over the furniture and cabinets. Fine for one night but will not be back.
