“Fantastic hotel in a great location”
After a weekend at the Merkur, we can thoroughly recommend it - the staff were extremely helpful & got us collected from a deserted airport on a Friday evening; the room was perfect as was the breakfast - and the central location made the whole weekend totally enjoyable.

“Close to City”
Great hotel, close to the city but the parking was very limited and its on a very small street. I had a very hard time with my American truck parking it but the hotel staff was flexible in trying to accommodate me. Very clean and classy hotel.

Nice location: close to pedestrian zone, casino and Caracalla's spa center. Parking place in front of hotel for lesser cost than in city
“Great Location”
The Hotel Merkur is in easy walking distance of all the sights and the staff were happy to advise me when I wished to travel further afield. The rooms had recently been redecorated and were very clean, tidy and stylish. The breakfast buffet had a great selection.
“Decent stay”
Nicely maintained and presented hotel in the center of Baden-Baden. Definitely worth looking at going back there.
“Inexpensive stay in an expensive town”
No lift in the "new" building. We had a loft room but the furnishings were cheap looking, however the duvet and pillows were fantastic. Our car was blocked in the parking garage when we wanted to leave for airport in the a.m. (you must leave car keys with reception), however receptionist appeared ASAP from home at 7:00 a.m. (no 24 hour receptionist) The breakfast is really good. It's close to the roman baths and the good shopping.
