“A Great Stay”
We had a very large room, with a large bathroom. A beautiful balcony complete with table and chairs over looked a garden area. We also enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam bath. Pretty close walk to downtown...i would definately recommend this hotel especially for the low price.
“Beautiful Baden-Baden area”
Our visit to Baden-Baden was enhanced with the location and services of our Best Western hotel. We were within walking distance of the town. We could walk along the water through a beautiful park. Everyone was friendly and efficient.
“Great hotel with great service...”
If you are going to Baden-Baden and speak English this is the place you want to go. All of the staff is very American friendly and very helpful. They have a nice spa, steam and sauna rooms and is very affordable. 100% recommend this hotel for English speakers.
“Highly recommended hotel; good facilities and value for money”
We throughly enjoyed our stay at The Queen's Hotel. The staff were most courteous and the facilities of a good standard. Our room was comfortable and well maintained. The hotel is well-positioned only a 20 mins stroll along the Lichtentaler Allee, or 10 mins along the main road; the major sights of Baden-Baden are therefore within walking distance. The hotel restaurant serves good quality local cuisine in a wood-panelled dining room - it is worth making reservations however as the restaurant is also popular with local diners. The Hotel Bar is small but does lead out to a sunny terrace, and serves a good selection of both non- and alcoholic drinks. The room service menu is not extensive, but the dishes were well presented and of comparable standard to those served in the main restaurant. The Spa comprises a well-equipped fitness centre, an indoor pool - just long enough for swimming lengths provided you do not push-off too hard from the side - and a jacuzzi leading out to a grassed area for sunbathing; loungers are placed around the pool and outside. Towels and robes must be obtained from reception before going down to the Spa - they are not available in the changing rooms. The hotel also offers a variety of beauty and hair treatments. The prices were competitive when compared to other salons in Baden-Baden therefore it is worth considering booking in advance of your stay. A good all-round hotel.
“Very comfortable”
Would definitely re-vist this hotel although a little out of town there is a beautiful work through the park and along the river from the town to get to the hotel. Breakfast was lovely at the hotel and the room was very comfortable and clean.
“Good Location, Good Value”
Hotels is located in a quiet street within 10 min riverside walk from town centre. Very comfy and clean.
“Comfortable Stay”
Very enjoyable, comfortable stay at the Queens Hotel
“Perfect Value”
Very nice hotel. Every room has a balcony with amazing views. You can walk to the main downtown area or take a bus on the corner that is easy to navigate. My only complaint was that the staff did not acommodate an early check in. Other than that a great stay for a great price.
“Not ideal for the families with childrens.”
I reserved 3 rooms while their system showed 5 rooms and they told me that I have to pay for the extra bookings which I did not do. They the next day they told me it is a mistake from their system. Make sure you get a room with balcony as the rooms without balcony is very sad and dark. Nice free parking spaces are available to all guests. If you have large number of bags they you have to manage to take them to your room as the hotel does not provide this service. Watch out from the TV as the pay pornography films are open as a default. You need to protect yourself and your family by asking the front desk to remove it from the TV list of channels.
“safe choice for business”
Not bad, but rather characterless after a few very enjoyable days spent in a small, one-off hotel where the owners had been really welcoming and thoughtful. It's an easy-going 15-min walk to town, and you're near main roads if you have a car to make excursions. You have to pay for WiFi, which I think is poor provision these days. There is one PC with free internet for all guests to share. The bar was never busy, and I'd be surprised if breakfast was ever, either - we didn't go once, failing to believe that anything on offer could justify 19 euros per person. Pros: clean; tidy; pleasant-enough staff; small pool and health suite Cons: unremarkable and you can probably do better in BB at this price range with some planning
