"We very much enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic!!! Many of the canals can have a lot of foot and bike traffic, especially at night. This location is close to everything, but on a quiet canal. We loved the funky old boat, but I would caution that the photos might be unintentionally misleading. "I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!"

"Wir hatten zwei tolle Tage auf dem schönen Hausboot! Es ist wirklich der reine Luxus dort. Wenn man reinkommt, ist es zwar sehr heiß, aber da man alles aufmachen kann, kühlt es auch schnell ab. Der Preis ist allerdings trotzdem sehr hoch. Der Check in ist relativ spät, das Check in Fenster zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 18:00 Uhr. Eher kurz. "Landschaftlich ein Traum. Mit den Panorama-Fenstern ist man ein Teil der Natur. Wir waren von dem Sonnenaufgang über dem See, dem gleißenden Licht der Morgensonne genauso angetan wie von dem Regen. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war der Fluglärm."

"What a relaxing time we had! The ducks come up in the morning and beg to join you for breakfast. People smile and waive in the boats passing by and even a load of cows on a boat came by. We can’t say enough about this lovely rental. Everything was absolutely gorgeous! The finishes were all high end and the relaxation you feel on entering this place is priceless! "Myself and 2 family members chose the Aalsmeer houseboat to explore Amsterdam and Keukenhof gardens. The houseboat is super cute. It’s a 35 minute walk to the bus station and we took an Uber for 10 euros because it was raining. Then bus to Hoofddorp to catch a train to Schiphol airport then on to Amsterdam Centraal station. Wir waren zu Viert, sodass eine Person auf einer Matratze im Wohnbereich schlafen musste, das sollte man sich also überlegen, aber das war auch so im Inserat angegeben. Durch den Gastgeber wurden wir sehr nett begrüßt, er hat uns auch gute Tipps zur Urlaubsgestaltung gegeben und wäre bei Fragen auch stets erreichbar gewesen.
