"When we arrived at the apartment, it did seem to be down a backstreet, but actually the location is good and just a few steps fom the lively square and the main sights a re all walkwable. Check-in was a breeze and communicaiton before-hand was good. We did feel that it didn't quite live up to the photos. Also, it wasn't particularly well equipped (no tea towels, not toaster, only one wine glass and no teaspoons), but all-in-all we enjoyed our stay"

"First off, I didn’t realize what a “Guesthouse” was in Rome. My bad. The entry is difficult to find, and if the driver hadn’t shown us the door we would have walked right by. You then enter a code to enter a dark, dirty hallway to a rickety elevator. Our room was very small, and there wasn’t anywhere to eat the quite good breakfast they deliver. We should have booked a “superior” room, as we saw those had a dining table and a couch. We expressed our disappointment to Paola, the owner. She handled it well, offering a free bottle of Prosecco and paying for our drive to the airport. The staff was very nice and we would recommend this place if you are ok with a guesthouse and want to be right in the middle of the centro historico. Our room was very quiet."

"This hotel was in a great location. Easy access to the bus station, restaurants, etc. The negatives are that it was very small, the AC was limited to how cool you could make it and it was too warm for my liking. Our room was up a flight of stairs without an elevator. The staff was not around much but they were friendly and helpful at check in."

"I stayed here with my family (2 adults, 2 kids) and we enjoyed this lovely property. We did not eat at the on site restaurants. Our room was very tidy and the staff was very helpful in orienting us to the city and assisting with transportation needs. Our windows closed securely but the very old door did not have a weather tight seal. Despite that, the room AC worked fine and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. We especially loved the location, being able to walk to so many wonderful sites and restaurants, but we did not have a problem with noise or safety. I would certainly stay here again!"
