"The property is really beautiful and well designed. We signed up for their tasting menu on two occasions and were a little disappointed in the food. The dinning area is stunning but you can’t choose what you want to eat so unfortunately we didn’t really love what was offered. Upgraded to (nice modern) mobile home, but charged 10 Euro for bedlinnen and they wanted 10 euro per towel also. We refused that. The breakfast was great and the pool area was amazing! Overall I do not have a bad thing to say about this place. Location is easy enough to get to and you can be in Oblia within 20 mins! "Cavallo is an idyllic and beautiful island. Unfortunately the hotel is no longer run in a first class way and I could not in good conscience recommend staying here (especially at these prices). For example, there is a ferry that takes you to the island. We called the hotel bc we were 3 mins late (after a 17 hour flight from California that wasn't so bad). The hotel assured us they would contact the ferry and make sure they would wait those three minutes. The ferry said no one ever contacted...

"Nice hotel with lovely pool area and views over the harbour. The walk in to town is not very pleasant and so you need a car to access town and surrounding areas so consider this in your planning. We only had the breakfast in the hotel which was excellent. We also did the hotel organised boat trip on Dolce Vita which was outstanding and I highly recommend. Overall the hotel is a bit run down in the common areas etc but the pool area is lovely. "
