Naples
The hotel is a bit hard to find, as it is in a very narrow naples street. Their hotel sign needs to be a bit bigger. Parking is right across from the hotel; however it costs €19; impossible to park for free on the street in this area of Naples. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, and the breakfast was really goo.

Moved to sister hotel in unsafe neighborhood
The day prior to my stay I received an email that there was a problem with our hotel and we were being moved to La Dimora di Garibaldi. This was my first stay in Naples and I was unaware of what it meant to stay near the metro station. It was a filthy area with people on every corner selling garbage. Literally garbage. From our hotel room which is nestled between two XXX rated movie theaters we saw men digging through trash bins for discarded items and selling them on the street. All three nights, we could not sleep due to the noise level. Horns honking, people on the street arguing, music blaring. I complained after the first night. No response to my email. But, the man in the office told my husband "it will not be the same tonight". It was. And, the plumbing issue I reported withing minutes of arriving, was never resolved. Using the toilet was at ones own risk. There was no getting up early to stroll through the neighborhood or staying up late to enjoy the nightlife. It felt unsafe. Be cautious of booking with this hotel. You might end up in one of their sister hotels.

I am from Sri Lankan. I was in this hotel 2 nights.. much much better rooms that i was expected.. specialy when you compare look of the roads/ buildings arround hotel is amazing.. Only issue is 1 st Floor but NO LIFT , No one was there to assist with bags

Best coffee & lovely hosts!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Il Paradiso - Dante. The location was great for shopping and visiting museums - just a stone's throw from the National Museum, which is one of the main reasons we visited Naples. And the garden area was nice to chill out in, too. Upon entering the B&B, we were greeted with smiles from the owners - Alex in particular was friendly and warm. Their English was rather limited, but it did not dampen the experience; if anything it added to the charm. Our room was as expected from the pictures, quite large and airy with a balcony overlooking the street below. How Italian! The room had been freshly cleaned and bed was really comfortable. Unfortunately they had trouble with the (lack of) hot water the few days we stayed with them, but Alex was very apologetic and tried his very best to rectify the problem. The shower itself was rather dismal, too. On the positives, the aroma of pastries that wafted through the corridors each morning was such a nice way to start the day. However by the end of our stay we were a bit tired of eating the same pastries every morning - a bit more variety would have been better. The coffee though was out of this world! The BEST COFFEE ever (from a B&B)! We would stay here again.

Location ok but.....no clean....no receptionist
I came in Naples on the 17th and my room wasn't ready so I asked for a map and restaurant to go for. We went out and we came back around 2pm by then the reception already was gone. We went in our room Luna nice and big. We went in the bathroom and we notice that the cleaner didn't clean the floor there was still the cotton bud next to the bin. We decide to take a nap. When we woke up we went for a walk but still no sign of receptionist. And same when we got back. Wednesday when we woke up was early because lots of noise from outside we went at the reception but again no one there I saw the cleaner and I asked for so she came and I asked about the transport. She was very helpful. I told her that I will come back later to take my clothes cause I will go to a wedding and if she can look after my room for wendsday and Thursday she said her shift will finished at 2. I said see you then. I came at 1.25pm but no receptionist. The bed of my boy wasn't done. We left and come back on Thursday night the room smell of my boy nappy prom the wendsday before we left and the toilet paper was out. The toilet again dirty. In the morning Friday we had to leave so I went to the reception now one there. I called the number and the cleaner told me that the reception start at 9.but I need the taxi for 8 am so he called it. Before I left I told him that we had no toilet paper and the bin wasn't changed and I paid 3 nights even though I was there only for 2.

Don't let the outside fool you...
We were generally very pleased with this hotel. We were a little bit concerned when the taxi dropped us off on what looked like a random side street, but once we were in the security gate, the hotel was really nice on the interior. The room was VERY spacious, even by European standards, and the bathroom was huge. We even had our own small outdoor space, which was very nice. Important to note is that (as it typical in Napoli) the staff speaks very little English, but was able to help us with everything we needed (taxis, etc.) and provided the breakfast for us an hour early on a day that we had to catch an early train. The breakfast itself was one of the nicer that we had in Italy, and included fresh-baked pastries, cereal, and toast. We had one issue with hot water being unavailable in our room, but by the time we realized it, the hotel staff had already identified the problem and offered to switch us to another room. I would definitely recommend.

Nice small comfortable B&B with helpful staff
We enjoyed our stay in this small B&B. The staff were helpful during our interactions. We were a little early and able to check in and also extended check out by the time they could. Very accomodating. The room was comfortable. The breakfast is basic but tasty. We were there for 5 nights, so the pasties got a bit repetitive. Overall a good experience and we would stay there again.

Reasonable price, great location!
This hotel is very close to metro and bus stations as well as a bunch of tourist attraction in a walkable distance, allowing you to explore the city. It is in a narrow, at a first sight, unpleasant street but when you get used to it you may even find it charming. You have to look for a little sign saying where the place is or check the street numbers. It seems a little creepy but I think it's a generally safe area. There are a lot of restaurants, pizza places etc. nearby. The room was spacious but the bathroom cleanliness could be a bit better. Also there was some dust and dirtiness behind the door but nothing you can't survive. The room was right next to the one the staff uses for storage etc. and it was easy to hear them preparing the dining room for breakfast. Breakfast was basic but tasty. I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay with them again if I ever found myself in Naples again.

Good value for money and staff helpful
The area Dante is quite grubby and the street leading to the hotel is very dirty. The condition and size of the room in the hotel is acceptable but cleanliness can be better. Breakfast is basic. staff are all very helpful and polite. The hotel is well placed for the Dante metro (line 1 direct from Statione Centrale). For the price we pay, it's good value for money if you can accept staying in a scruffy part of town. Recommend to take a taxi to airport it costs €16.

Modern B&B in historic quarter
The hotel is difficult to find initially due to its location down a narrow side street and the very small sign outside. In contrast to the local area, the hotel is modern and the rooms are relatively spacious. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak basic English. The only major area for improvement would be improving the cleanliness in the room - particularly the shower cubicle.

Very nice b&b once you make it inside
When the taxi pulled up outside I initially thought the driver was lost and when he then pointed out the sign for the b&b I feared the worst. It is located on a side street where the last thing you would expect is a clean, spacious bed and breakfast. Once inside though I was pleasantly surprised and relieved! Overall if you are on a budget this is a great place to stay. The immediate street is a bit grimey but then so is a lot of Naples. Once you get back into the b&b its easy to forget where you are and the location is a great place to explore by foot/train.

Located in a typical Naples side street off the main road. 4-5 mins walk to buses, Metro, resturaunts and bars. Room was well kept, very comfy bed and really quiet air con. Our fav resturaunt O Munaciello.

Good experience
Very well located in the heart of Naples. This is a residential area, its a family building, with a mini market and a bakery a few steps from the apartment. The personal at the hotel was the best part. Everybody was very nice and helpful. When we got to the place Andrea gave us a map and show us how to get to places. There is also a young lady Manuella that help us a lot with patience finding the best and cheap guide that you could ask for " Alessio", this guy is extremely nice, he would stop for us just to make pictures. People at hotel made us have a good experience.

This B&B was pleasant but also with its own flaws. Breakfast was basically non-existing and the request for a second room key was apparently a toll-order. The bathroom is not cleaned frequently and the shower clogged up.

Nice little b&b
The hotel is difficult to find once you are on the street. Look for the door number rather than the hotel name. Its an OK area, especially compared to the rest of Naples, which isn't great to be honest. Once inside, be aware that the staff don't have great English, but are very helpful and friendly. The room was very nicely furnished and clean, with all you would want and speedy WiFi. The bed was very firm, which isn't my taste, but I still had a goodnight's slee . The garden area is lovely, with a hammock and orange and lemon trees. Breakfast was basic. Bread, pastries and cereal. No ham and cheese. I am not planning on going back to Naples, but if I was, I would stay there again.

Nice on the inside

La posizione è strategica. Ad un passo da piazza Dante, quindi dalla fermata della metro e da cui partire per qualsiasi attrazione della città. Il B&B è molto bello, nuovissimo, arredato con gusto e il giardino con gli alberi di agrumi fa la differenza con tanti altri B&B in zona. Però c'è molto da fare. Grande potenziale ma i ragazzi che lo gestiscono devono fare grandi sforzi. Primo fra tutti l'accoglienza. Inaccettabile accogliere i clienti in tuta e con gli amici praticamente sdraiati sui divanetti della reception. Non si fa. Invitate i vostri amici a tenere un atteggiamento meno "stravaccato". Le camere non sono insonorizzate, per cui si sente tutto. Dalle auto e moto che scorrazzano a tutte le ore (è un primo piano) alle "amabili" conversazioni dei ragazzi della reception o delle telefonate. Per cui, riposare di giorno è impossibile. La colazione, altro tasto dolente: manca l'attenzione ai clienti. Non c'è la minima attenzione alla pulizia del locale breakfast dopo l'uso e non c'è attenzione al rifornimento dei prodotti, una volta finiti. Bisogna sempre chiedere di pulire i tavoli e aggiungere prodotti. I tavoli e le sedie del giardino sempre sporchi. Dopo la pioggia, vanno puliti. Altrimenti sono inutilizzabili. Premio alla buona volontà del custode, sempre a disposizione e sempre gentile. I ragazzi lasciano molto a desiderare. VI suggerisco di preparavi meglio sull'accoglienza e ponete molta più attenzione ai dettagli. Sono quelli che fanno la differenza. Buon lavoro

Hotel muy cómodo y bien ubicado. Con parking privado justo enfrente. Aunque es de pago, es buena opción para dejar el coche, ya que aparcar en la calle es imposible. La habitación está muy bien, amplia y limpia. El desayuno correcto, aunque podría mejorarse (sobre todo la variedad ofrecida). Los chicos que te atienden, muy amables. Aunque el edificio por fuera es viejo, las habitaciones están reformadas y bastante nuevas. Si volviera a Nápoles repetiría sin duda.

Das Hotel entspricht den Bildern, die Zimmer waren allerdings leider ziemlich dreckig ... Parken kann man hier schlecht bis gar nicht, Parkhaus kostet 20€ pro Nacht! Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Slechte ervaring B en B.
De B en B staat in een rampzalige buurt.....smerig en gevaarlijk voor vakantiegangers......Bij aankomst stond het raam open, waardoor het vreselijk stonk in de kamer....tevens lagen overal vuilniszakken en containers uitpuilend van rotzooi en stank in de straten. Midden in de nacht word je wakker gemaakt door vrachtwagens die zich door de kleine straatjes wurmen en een angstaanjagend geluid produceren waardoor je werkelijk geen nachtrust daarna meer kunt pakken. Kortom na nacht 2 hetzelfde te hebben doorstaan, hebben wij de koffers ingepakt en zijn wij vertrokken naar een hotel aan de kust Hotel Excelsior. Daar hebben we de verdere vakantie doorgebracht en waren we uiteindelijk toch weer uitgerust. Dus conclusie ...... niet boeken.....buurt is absoluut niet veilig. En absoluut geen aanrader.

Completamente rinnovato buoni servizi, centrale
Napoli e una bellissima citta' ricca di contrasti con tantissime cose da vedere e fare, b&b centrale bello completamente rinnovato incastonato in una via "particolare" tipica Napoletana, i gestori disponibili e gentilissimi buon rapporto qualita' prezzo, camera spaziosa e confortevole con giardinetto annesso per relax. Colazione basic ma completa.

Ottimo b&b a due passi da Piazza Dante, dal Museo Archeologico e dal centro storico. Camere e bagni ristrutturati di recente, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Se appena c'è un po' di sole è possibile fare colazione in un giardino interno, sotto alberi di limoni e mandarini, da non credere !

Grazioso B&B a due passi dal centro storico.
Soggiorno di 4gg/3notti nella camera "Venere". Letto matrimoniale comodo e un bel bagno. B&B centrale, ottimo per visitare Napoli vecchia a piedi. Comodo ai mezzi. Il personale è solare e disponibile. Buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Se tornerò a Napoli vi alloggerò sicuramente.

Posto carino e particolare.... Personale gentile e disponibile,la colazione era buona e abbondante.... L'unico appunto che posso fare è che la camera da letto e soprattutto il bagno non erano molto puliti, c'erano molti capelli per terra...direi discreto nel complesso

B&B a pochi passi dal centro
Posizione molto comoda, vicinissimo al centro e anche vicino alla funicolare che ti porta al Vomero, bella zona di Napoli. Hotel pulito e dignitoso, il personale molto gentile e disponibile

Fijn rustig B&B perfecte ligging
Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, Manuela helpt je bij alles in haar beste Engels. Kamers zijn prima en keurig netjes. Eenvoudig maar lekker ontbijt. Het straatje komt uit op een grote winkelstraat, via Toledo en is vlakbij metrostation Dante en het historisch centrum. Ligging is heel gunstig. Er is ook een tuin om te relaxen.

Interessantes Neapel, wenn auch völlig heruntergekommen, mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten; das wunderbare Capri und Ischia sind gut per Schiff (ziemlich teuer: 40 € hin und zurück) erreichbar; weitere Touren zum Vesuv, nach Pompeji und Sorrento sind hingegen preiswert und leicht mit der Bahn zu erreichen.

Definitiv kein Hotel
Es handelt sich hier um eine einfache B&B Unterkunft. Das Personal spricht eigentlich nur Italienisch, die Englischkenntnisse sind rudimentär. Die Größe des Zimmers und des Badezimmers sind ok, die Ausstattung einfach (kein geschlossener Schrank, keine Schubfächer). Die Sauberkeit ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig, Schimmel in den Ecken der Dusche, der Mülleimer im Bad war nicht geleert, Haare im Bad, schmutziger Fußboden. Auch der Service war eher bescheiden. Das Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nachgefüllt (neues nur nach Anfrage), im Kühlschrank waren ursprünglich eine kleine Flasche Wasser und eine Dose Limonade, diese wurden dann auch nicht mehr nachgefüllt. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach, der Kaffee jedoch sehr gut. Auch hier war der Service absolut unbefriedigend. Frühstückszeit war von 7.00 bis 10.00 Uhr. Vor 7.45 war aber in der Regel nichts vorbereitet. Man musste ständig nachfordern, da nichts selbständig nachgefüllt wurde (Butter, Milch, Saft, Kaffeepads usw.). Die Theke sah manchmal fürchterlich aus, die vier Tische waren oft nicht abgeräumt. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist günstig für die Altstadt. Die Piazza del Dante (hier Metro) ist um die Ecke. Allerdings ist die Straße in der das B&B ist, nicht sehr einladend, vor allem nachts. Die kleine Straße, in der die Unterkunft liegt ist viel befahren, auch nachts. Bei geöffnetem Fenster ist dies sehr laut. Alles in allem ist das "Il Paradiso" eine preisgünstige Unterkunft, mehr aber auch nicht, auf keinen Fall paradiesisch.

una piacevole sorpresa
vi ho soggiornato con il mio compagno dal 14 agosto al 17.......visto da fuori,all'inizio, non da una bella impressione......ma basta poco per rendersi conto che invece è un delizioso B&B rinnovato e curato nei dettagli,il personale molto gentile e disponibile.E' un'ottimo punto di partenza x poter visitare la bellissima città di Napoli,in 5 minuti a piedi si è in via dei tribunali,a san Gregorio Armeno,via Toledo e nel centro storico,inoltre è vicinissimo alla metropolitana di piazza Dante....ci tornerò sicuramente.....

Quiet oasis amid the historic center
The hotel is located in the middle of the charming historic center of the city. Even though the street is busy and noisy, the hotel is modern and quiet. We didnt hear any outside noices. The room was clean and modern with minibar. The service was great, the staff were friendly and they gladly helped us find restaurants ect. The hotel is located close to the Metro ("Dante") which is very convenient. It is also walking distance to several sites and to the port (great if you wanna go to Capri for a day). The only thing I could complain about is the breakfeast which was slightly parched.
