The beds were comfortable, and the rooms quiet. We were put in a room on the 2nd floor that is accessible from the 3rd floor. Yup that means you had to walk down many steps to the room! This was quite awful with heavy bags and children. We also could not control the temperature in our room, it kept pushing hot when we were asking for cold. The solution we were offered was to open the window. Unfortunately on the second floor from the bedroom it had a foul smell that came in the window. Overall we felt it was over priced for what was offered, especially with the inconvenience of no elevator access.

Great location, reasonable price, modern hotel!
The hotel was in a very convenient location to move around Naples with the Metro in the same building. Sound insulation was excellent, as we never heard the Metro. The front desk staff, housekeeping staff and breakfast staff were excellent and very attentive. The room was very modern and clean. The bed was much better than any of the beds on the rest of our Italy Adventure, but still a little firm for our liking. The A/C worked well as long as you leave a key in the slot while you’re gone, otherwise, it takes a long time to cool off the room. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed the scrambled eggs! The El Sombrero restaurant right outside the hotel door is excellent and very reasonably priced! The hotel has an app that is very informative.

Hotel was just average. Annoyed with staff after making sure via email that we would have a family room with one double and two singles. When arrived they forgot to add another single bed. Single beds are small too. The hotel is odd shaped so not the best if you struggle with stairs. Lift can only accept two people. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The only bonus is that fact that it is next door to a station.

location is good , it is right next to train station. there are taxis in front of the hotel . staff are nice . breakfast is good. our room problem: .The window shades are not blocking out the light.difficult to sleep in the morning . if you are sensitive be aware of that .

Pleasant Stay
Nice little hotel close to Mergellina station and a short walk from some good restaurants and the sea. Personnel helpful and friendly. Hotel comfortable and was not disturbed by the trains overnight.

HORRIBLE do not stay here
It was not centrally located as I thought the room amenities came with next to nothing no lotion or anything I was situated across from an open storage room and I wanted an extra pillow since it was late at night I didn't find a pillow but I found a bathrobe that I thought I might want to use so, so since my room didn't have one I put it in the bathroom. I didn't use it until the second day but apparently they charge you $5 a day if you use a bathroom which I think is completely ridiculous so they charged me $10 to use the bath robe that was stiff and itchy and not even a full bathrobe, it was half bathrobe. Also I accidentally spilt some wine on my bed late night so from the store room I change my sheets rather than bother somebody late night for my mistake and they charged me basically $20 because I changed my own sheets they said there was wine on it and they had to wash them and I said wouldn't you have had to wash them anyway and they said because it was staying there is an extra charge well I know wine comes out I've spilt it on my own sheets it washes out. my point was I did them a favour by changing my own sheets and they charged me an extra $20 for it. So I rack up $30 in miscellaneous charges for cleaning up my own mess and borrowing a terrible robe. There is only local Italian TV which sucks because in every other location we've stayed at there's been at least a couple of English speaking chanels. Dear Mrs. Colleen, Let us reply to all the crazy things you said. - Naples has a big city center, and we are in 20 minutes by walking far from the HISTORICAL ONE, that is an area of the big center. The most important thing, is that we are in the ancient Mergellina station, that you can use to arrive faster wherever you want, at the cost of only € 1.30. Moreover, we have also the taxi station downstairs, in case you would like to take also a taxi. So we are FULL of services, and way to go around. - We have different rooms, with different services, from the lower to the higher. Your room was a medium typology, we don't put in it the bathrobe, since is not part of the services of it. This do not signify that you cannot ask to reception, open 24h, information about that. In fact if youwould have informed us, we would have let you know about the little cost of the bathrobe, so you'd have choose to take it or not. Even if it was 1 am, 3 am, 5 am, you would must have asked to reception about what you need, nothing allow you to enter in a private area of an Hotel, like the storage, where there can be everything, and take what you want. What you did is steal . nothing else. We work 24h to be at the FULL disposal of guests, so you are not allowed to discredit us and our Hotel since it was your fault. We applied just our policy, that is to pay for the services added and not included. - You turned your bedsheet from white to red with wine. For us is a damage, is a waste of money since to clean up bedsheets with stain of wine is not simple, and it hasn't a normal cost. That's why you paied for the change of bedsheet the day of your arrival. - Thanks for the photos that shows that eggs and meat were not burned. - always if you would have asked, we would have put you television on english way . In any case, we work everyday to make our best. Best regards

Nice location but average experience!
The hotel was located inside Mergellina Station which was pretty convenient. However, the room assigned to us was located the same floor of the train station platform - it did cause us some concerns about safety and privacy. Also, it did have a window, but with no views! We felt the staffs were a bit cold without any greetings and smiles. And, remember to bring your toothbrush and toothpaste as they would charge you EUR5 for that!

Since we are in the building of the staton, of course we are on the same floor of the station. Nice little hotel, great staff, poor soundproofing
Staff here are great, it's a fare distance from the cities main tourist areas but the rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast is standard continental but was sufficient. The only reason for not being completely happy with this hotel is because the soundproofing is dreadful. We could hear full conversations from the bar area and neighboring room guests coughing and chatting. A Shane as that would put us off recommending.

RUDE STAFF & broken air conditioning
Booked a superior room which was much smaller in real life. Perhaps the dark walls and dark curtains make it seem even smaller. Air conditioning didn’t work properly for two nights. Tried to let reception know they laughed at us and said we didn’t know how to work it. Turns out it was faulty and needed a new filter. Most of the staff are friendly but lack customer service. No tea making facilities, dental kits, robes etc. Very basic hotel. One particular receptionist is very aggressive - Lucilla. Shouted at us and laughed in our faces on more than one occasion. We were struggling with the room having paid a ridiculous amount for a room in which we could not sleep comfortably. Reported to Expedia and they insisted the hotel fix it or move our rooms so it was resolved eventually. Our room unfortunately was on the train tracks (it’s at the metro station) and you can feel the trains underneath in the room from time to time! Uncomfortable pillows. Breakfast was great though and the rest of the staff were pleasant and helpful. Would not stay again.

Lovely, friendly hotel with great transport links.
Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was clean, and a great size. Very comfortable bed. The hotel was ideally situated to visit the city and beyond (just four quick stops from central Station). It was also close to some great restaurants. We had the loveliest stay, and would definitely return here if we visit again.

Very convenient walking distance to the ferry port. The receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful and the service was excellent. We only had a basic room because we were arriving late & just staying one night. The room was very clean and comfortable though with everything we needed. The breakfast was really lovely. Very stylishly laid out and a good choice. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Hidden away, next to the station but gorgeous inside the main areas and great service.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The location is good; the building itself is attached to the metro station that takes you to Naples city center. Traveling by Metro is easy and quick but it's about a 10 min ride to city center and it is not walkable.

We’ve stayed here four times. We like it. Very nicely dog friendly but I’d say things need a sprucing up. The elevator scares me. It’s always squealing and squeaking. Some of the rooms need painting. Thdownstairs entryway seems unpleasant

Surprise in a train station building
Hotel only on two floors of an old building at a train station. Sort of strange BUT those two floors are beautiful and comfortable. Rooms very nice, clean and modern. bathrooms too

Fantastic location, just located beside metro and short walk to the beach side. Lots of food options at the beach side, only downside is that there’s no supermarket nearby. Hotel staff and service is excellent, newly furnish hotel so the condition is very good.
