Hello Dwight, Five Start Review are what we strive for. We appreciate your direct feedback. We will We will address the wear over this rental season. We did a major overhaul to all our external Patio furniture recently and will be painting the unit shortly and adding additional updates quarterly. We will address the carpet cleaning and/ or replacement this season as well

This rental is not a con and I have not lied. I am sorry your upset you did not receive a refund due to our cancellation policy. The prospective tenant was given the gate code and check in instruction through the standard automated process and is the first to ever have an issue. VRBO has this transcript and I am working with them to remove the false claim that you never received a gate code. Which if true would be a horrendous experience. The traveler tried to reach me a 11:30 at night which is 7 1/2 hours after check-in time. I have no issue with a late check in but was not made aware of this by the tenant. Her statement is correct that I was not reachable at 11;30 at night for a check-in issue . They contacted VRBO but those transcripts are confidential and I do not know what transpired on there 24 hour support call. They have all the check in information and should be able to guide the caller through any issue as there policy. I contacted tenant at 8:30 the next morning and the tenant verbally refused the property stating VRBO had given them alternate accommodations. The tenant stated to me verbally that she was happy with the accommodations she received from VRBO and that she did not want to relocate again. I then drove to the unit under her claim that the lock box does not function. I opened the unit with the same procedure that every tenant uses without issue and no problem. I contacted VRBO and then VRBO attempted to reach the tenant all day. I kept the unit open for half of the day and then left after no response for 4 hours. The tenant eventually responded the next day via VRBO email that she did not need the unit and VRBO is aware as they gave her the new accommodations. The rental was a 3 day weekend rental. We did not discuss a refund verbally and she said I am not upset and am not going to give a poor review when we spoke at 8:30 the morning after check-in. Hopefully I will be able to remove this review as VRBO has the proof that you were provided a gate code via VRBO check-in instructions and I was physically present the next day to provide you access if you really had issues operating the lock box. The best way I can describe your statements is Slander.
