"This property although it was very old suited our purpose for our stay, we just needed a clean bed and somewhere to shower. Where it is situated is right on a lighted intersection and trucks and other traffic had to stop or start off again. After a few nights we became somewhat acclimatised to the noise which was very loud most mornings and evenings. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. "

"It is a heritage building so she is an old girl with creaky bones but is part of the history and landscape of Katoomba. Excellent location right in town. Walk from train. Walk to tourist sites. "Booked the motel when the UTA trail run was still happening and it was literally the only room in/near Katoomba available. Decided to still spend the weekend after the event was cancelled. The Motel is pretty dire. Ultimately you get what you pay for at $85 a night. It’s situated right between the train line and highway so is super noisy. No staff on site so check in is automated - which is fine except it reeks of a place that can be rented by the hour. And it also actually reeks...damp smell,...

I would have given it a 5 stars if the shower screen over the bath tubs is a bit wider so that the water not splash out to the floor. Anyway I would stay again next time."
