Come stay at my Shipping Container Cabin in the heart of Red River Gorge! This beautiful, unique cabin is hand crafted and equipped for a perfect, relaxing stay in the gorge. It is secluded and surrounded by trees for a truly peaceful and relaxing experience.

The cabin features two bedrooms with queen beds and one full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The living room has a large leather sectional couch with ottoman, 42” television, DishNetwork, DVD player and WIFI. The kitchen includes a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, two-burner hot plate, sink, and all dishes and cooking utensils. (No oven) The cabin is climate controlled (Air Conditioning and Heat) and has city water. The outside of the cabin features a large, covered deck with chairs and a patio with a smokeless fire pit, chairs, and a hot tub! Go explore in the surrounding woods!

There is a lockbox with a key in it. You will receive a code for the lockbox a couple days before your stay.

Please note that the wifi is good for basic browsing and internet use but may not support streaming.

Unique, affordable and good location
Cabin was exactly as described. 15 min drive to good hiking. Host was spectacular! Very helpful and quick to respond. Cabin is beautiful and they have thought of everything. There were a few things we forgot to bring and then realized it was already there. I will definitely stay here again.

Always wanted to stay in a container “cabin”. This had every thing you’d need! Clean, comfy, private. Plenty to do at RRG, or do nothing and listen to dozens of chirping birds. You’ll love it.

Perfect Stay
This property was everything we needed during our stay at RRG. It was clean and the property owner was responsive and helpful with any questions we had. She was accomodating letting us come in early since the weather was nasty during our stay. We recommend this place to anyone visiting RRG.

We stumbled across this listing while planning a last minute hiking trip for my husband’s birthday. My one regret is that we hiked too much. I loved returning to our little oasis in the woods after a day of exercise. Shower temperature and pressure was great. Beds, views and sofa amazing. Just enough kitchen supplies to enjoy, but no pressure to cook big. Although, next trip, wr plan yo bring steaks to grill out. We will be back with a new balance “hike less, relax more”. This is a perfect place to do just that. Great directions…,don’t panic just follow exactly!
