You get what you pay for. Hotel is in the north end of Roma Norte, which is a good location, quieter than city centre and fairly safe. The hotel is on the older side, corridors have old carpets, bed sheets are stained, but they tried to make the rooms nice. There is no airconditioning, fans only, so it gets stuffy. Staff didn't speak much English. It was good for a cheap stay in a good area.

The front office staff could have been more helpful. The cleaning ladies were amazingly kind and helpful. The night staff cleaned a room across from us at1:30 am and made souch noise, banging and talking loudly, that I actually got up and opened the door. Super rude. We had a 3am alarm to get to the airport...

Excelente para dormir y bañarse, lo único incómodo es la dinámica de tener que dejar la llave cada vez que se sale del hotel. Ningún hotel en el que me he hospedado en los últimos 16?años usan llave que no sea tarjeta, y además se tenga que dejar en el lobby aún si solo se va a una tienda cercana o a desayunar.

The cleaning lady didn't show up for 3 days. The beds are made of concrete. There is black mold in the bathrooms. I checked out 3 days earlier and rented a nearby apartment.

This is a budget hotel that is ok for the location. I like the room and the tvs are above average. The bed were confortable as well as the pillows. I book this hotel because it is close to USA embassy... perfect for a short walking. I wish i could recomend the hotel more... but unfortunately, their walls are very thin and the room was so noisy from the cars from outside and also by any people that speak in the next room or corridor.

The front desk staff appeared preoccupied and inattentive to guest needs or concerns. Overall the hotel seemed dated and required an upgrade throughout. The carpeting outside my room had a big stain and was soiled. The room itself was hot and uncomfortable, and the posted sign on the door to have the room cleaned was ignored for three consecutive days.

The location is great. The cleanliness is good. The service is good. HUGE WARNING: No AC and hard beds with terrible pillows. It really is you pay what you get. For the price we paid, it was worth it. The neighborhood (Roma Norte) was great and we loved the area. Sleeping was the only issue as there was no AC and a very hard bed with a very big puffy weird pillow.

Overall the property was pretty good for the price. No AC just a plugged in fan. Mornings can sometimes be nosy due to street vendors.

The 5th floor maid, is the most thorough maid in a hotel i have ever stayed. Front desk staff also very helpful. Room too hot as can only open small portion of window wall. Ice machine would be nice addition.

Not even one ice machine. Adding one ice machine in each floor and mine fridges in each room, would elevate the overall rate considerably. Even though, it is a nice hotel in a great area, and it has parking lot in the facility.

I'll never go back
Very disappointed. I booked 5 months in advance and the price kept dropping each time I rechecked; that should have been a clue. What I liked was its proximity to the zocalo. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. The shower was hot. These are the reasons it made 1-2 stars instead of 1 star. The air conditioner didn't work. Most of the floor tiles were coming up. The hallways had litter as if it hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner for days. No wall or lamp usb ports. Two outlets in the room, both far from the bed, and one of them didn't work!. Mold on the bathtub. No one in reception spoke English though it was advertised to have bilingual staff. Work being done on the third floor was very loud. The pool water was too cold to swim in. The first room's ceiling was leaking; I had to change rooms. And the staff never apologized for the inconvenience. The second room was a corner room; better view but the music from the band outside was very loud and didn't stop until 1 am each night.
