Fabulous hotel for the price. My room was well appointed and clean. Quiet at night if you can put up with a little traffic noise. The free water was a huge bonus and saved me a lot of money.

This hotel, while keeping a cheap price, is well appointed and in a great area. Thoroughly recommend a stay in the hotel if you want a cheap and enjoyable stay in Mexico City.

The hotel was clean, and staff very helpful. Our room was very noisy - windows don't really dampen the road noise. They do offer ear plugs. Water cooler very welcome.

Frida Costa Azul Does it Again.
This was my second stay in as many years at Ayenda Frida Costa Azul. I had a wonderful stay there just like last year. I personally want to thank Alicia and Diego for accommodating me with a special request (muchas gracias). Because of people like them, I will keep coming back to this hotel whenever I am in Mexico City. In addition, the hotel is perfectly situated and just a few blocks from the historic center as well as the Metro.

Nice reception desk, on the edge of a sketchy neighborhood. Incredibly uncomfortable beds and pillows and there was not hot water in the showe.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They offered filtered water so you can get your own water when you liked. It was a good price and near the zocalo

Stayed two weeks and enjoyed it very much. Rooms are small, which is why they are economical. Everything was clean, 24 hour desk, staff was pleasant and efficient. Easy access to metro station and not too far from the Historical Center. Small restaurant next door is very good. Laundry across the street. NOISE: The street can be busy and noisy during the day, but is so very quiet at night. I studied for a professional exam, online, and found it manageable. I will stay again and I would recommend economy minded friends to stay there, as well.

An old villa with a few small bedrooms converted into a hotel. Room was very small. There was no desk or electrical outlets to plug in a lap top computer. Shower has no hot water. There are no reception or any staff on property after 7 PM. Cannot check in late. Facility is near the Santa Fe mall but it takes a long walk, climbing serval overpasses over road ways to reach the mall or any store. Shopping is not convenient.

La señora que atiende por las tardes es súper amable, ella personalmente me llevo 2 botellas de agua a mi cuarto, sin embargo el chico que se encuentra por las noches tiene un criterio pobre, tuve que pedir cambio de cuarto ya que realmente no podía dormir, le ofrecí que me cobrara extra ya que el ruido de la calle es exagerado, me dijo que no tenía habitaciones disponibles y me ofreció tapones y los acepté, tiempo después otro chico subió solo con un juego de tapones y éramos dos personas, después el chico de la recepción me marcó y me comentó que si había la opción de un cuarto más aislado pero con cargo extra (mismo que yo desde el inicio le había sugerido) pero me pidió que bajara al lobby (a media noche), la verdad me moleste porque cualquiera que fuera el movimiento no veía necesidad de bajar (cargo extra el cobro podría hacerse en el check out y la llave me la podría llevar el mismo chico que me llevo los tapones) y le dije que lo iba a calificar mal, baje y cuando llegue me dio la llave del Nuevo cuarto y me dijo que no tenía costo y que no había problema si lo calificaba mal. Me parece que eso debío habermelo ofrecido en el minuto 1 cuando se lo pedí.

I like it has places to eat near by and historical buildings to.I didnt like the neiborhood that it was not safe to walk at night,thats what a cop told me.

The room was great! Clean no insect or bug concerns. Hot and cold water worked well. The beds slightly stiff for my husbands liking. A water dispenser in hallway was neirby. I asked the front desk for a clothing iron and board and they provided one right away. Due to Covid they do have thin trays at the door of alcohol to disinfect your shoe soles as you come in. Very clean establishment. There is not individual ac units in room just a fan, due to the weather of high 70s low 50s the fan was more than enough. The room is provided with a mini safe to it valued items if needed. Room service provide a variety of toiletry items if needed and the room service food items are more of microwaveable items. When asked for food locations the front desk were so polite to point out where to go based on our preference. I enjoyed the stay and look forward to returning

Terrible traffic noise! The Hotel Menara a couple blocks over is much quieter. The honking started at 4 AM. I couldn't stay a second night.

Excelente hotel . It's a very basic hotel room. As long as you come in knowing that, you'll be fine. Just be careful to know that if your room is facing the streets, you'll hear EVERY car that passes by.

What I liked about my stay was it was close to everything if I needed something, it was a safe neighborhood, staff was always there even late nights, very helpful with my questions and next time I would stay in this hotel again great experience
