"Excellent location and extremely comfortable hotel. The entire staff was amazingly helpful and accommodating. The only issue was that one of the two elevators was out of service the entire stay. I would definitely go back."

"The only downside was there was not a coffee station for guests at the hotel. You have to wait until the doors open for breakfast. There is a coffee shop nearby, but it would be more convenient for guests if coffee was provided 24/7. The new renovated rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable .. however, the walls are paper thin."

"The Hotel was clean, and seemed like it was a brand new establishment. Our room was very quiet and the room temperature control kept our room extremely comfortable. I loved the beautiful location and the on site restaurant. The hotel provided 24/7 coffee via very nice coffee brewers, which offered also brewed latte’s, etc. All of this was complimentary. I can highly recommend Yotel."

"I was not impressed with the standard of service provided by the hotel. The staff were either unhelpful and unfriendly, or friendly but untrained to deal adequately with the public. The main complaint I have was the absence of housekeeping of the room, which I was unaware of before the booking and which I would not expect from a 3 star hotel. In addition we had to collect towels and even toilet paper from the reception. Because no housekeeping was provided by the hotel, the toilet was not cleaned during our stay and we had to clean it ourselves!"

"Whilst I would not actively discourage anyone from staying at this hotel in Edinburgh, our recent experience was a negative one due to the significant noise experienced in the early hours of the morning as a result of the very busy restaurant and bar which is part of the hotel. This may have been outside the norm due to the world cup, however it felt like the hotel prioritised those watching the match over the hotel guests as there was no evidence of any attempt to keep the noise at a reasonable volume despite it being after 2am. Sadly the hot buffet breakfast the following morning was luke warm at best, despite us arriving within minutes of it opening. As a result we are unlikely to return to this hotel ourselves as there are so many others in Edinburgh to choose from that it's not worth risking a second bad experience."
