"I had used my cash points from Hotels.com to book this reservation in advance. My receipt from the hotel showed no balance. I was surprised to see a $15 charge on my credit card after our stay. When I inquired, the desk clerk said it was a charge for stained towels, which I had never heard of at any hotels or motels we've stayed in before. The only stain that may have been on a hand towel would have been from light makeup after brushing my teeth. Also, the chairs in the room were so stained, I wouldn't sit in them. I will never book another reservation with Wyndham."

"If you have a service animal they don’t understand that service animals cannot be charged a “pet fee” via the Americans with Disabilities Act It listed there was a pool and showed up to the pool being down. In my room there was no remote control for the TV. I left and came back to fire trucks out front because the alarm system kept getting tripped. Stains on the carpet"

"We enjoyed our stay here. The house is a very old Victorian home with many of the original floor boards, fireplaces, and woodwork. We loved this. The furniture was comfortable as well. The house was clean and the bedroom we slept in was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The modernized kitchen had everything we needed with plenty of seating in the dining room. The bathrooms have been modernized and were very clean. The full bathroom upstairs was very large and had the washer and dryer in it. Plenty of hot water but could use an additional towel rack or 2. During our stay, the weather outside was hot and humid but the house was very comfortable even a little cooler than we are used to. The house is very pet friendly and has a fenced in backyard. Our dog fell asleep everywhere in the house. The backyard consisted of mostly weeds and some bare spots. There was a small firepit in the middle of the yard and a table with 6 chairs. The handrail down the steps from the deck to the backyard was in serious need of replacement. The host was very quick to respond when I brought this to his attention. Every communication I had with the host was positive and very quick. The only drawback for me was the listing said parking is available. Parking is in front of the house on the street that is busy 24/7. I was not a fan of this but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. Plenty to see and good food within walking distance."

"Everything was good. Like all the old furniture. Housekeeping keep our room clean every day. Staff was very friendly. Stayed on the 3rd floor was really hoping to see a ghost or have some kind of paranormal experience. That was the only disappointment "
