“Best of Mammoth Lakes!”
I have lodged at dozens of accomodations in Mammoth Lakes and the Monache is the best of all if you want "service." Condos are nice, but if you want to be pampered, the hotel route is the only way to go; especially during the winter. The hotel is steps from the gondola at the Village. You don't need to trek to your car or wait at a shuttle stop to get to the mountain....simply cross the street and your on your way to the slopes! The valet service was excellent: fast and courteous. The front desk and housekeeping are wonderful. And lastly, the room service dining was a delightful experience.
“Mammoth Lakes Best”
The best hotel by far, we travelled all through the US staying at various acomodations, we have also travelled fairly extensively through Europe, Russia, Africa, Asia and Australia and this would be up there with the best accomodation we have stayed at. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.
“Happy with our stay”
We stayed two nights in September 2011. Our actual destination was nearby Devil's Post Pile National Monument for a day of hiking to the monument and Rainbow Falls. Both were worth the long hikes. Overall our experience at the Westin Monache was quite pleasant and relaxing. The room was quite nice with plenty of space, high speed internet access and very quite surroundings. If we are back in the area, we will definitely consider staying there again.
“Definitely Plan On Staying Again”
What a nice hotel. We had a wonderful stay and were so comfortable. We really appreciated the private garage for parking too. Everyone was so friendly and the rooms were beautiful. We'll definitely be going back.
“Westin Monache in Summer”
We stayed here in August during off-season. It was quiet and clean. The staff is very nice. The summer rate was an unusually good value. I will definitely stay here again.
We stayed at the Westin in Mammoth for 3 days this summer and had an amazing time. The staff was friendly, helpful, and really made our stay wonderful. The conceirge, Buck, was so friendly and knowledge about the area. He helped us plan each day so that all three of our kids had a great experience. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and were pleased by the size of the room and the balcony was a nice addition. We can't wait to come back!!!
“Westin a wonderful experience”
After a long drive from Las Vegas the Westin Mammoth Lakes was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The room were very clean and well appointed. The sushi in the restaurant was as good if not better than in Tokyo. The staff made some excellent suggestions on where to visit on our travel to Yosemite. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend the Westin.
“Best Westin Ever”
This is the best Westin I've ever stayed at. The staff are super friendly and you feel like you are staying at a small lodge because of their personal service. Check-in went quickly and smoothly. The room was amazing. The pool and hot tubs were perfect on a cold fall night. The room service was prompt and reasonably priced. The suite was stocked with everything down to silverware and a toaster. I would go back anytime.
“Fantastic Stay - Will be back!”
This place could not be better. Great staff, great room, great food, etc, etc, etc. You can't go wrong with The Westin Monache!
We decided to stay at the Westin Monache for our short, 2-night getaway to Mammoth Lakes. As soon as we pulled into the hotel's driveway, we knew we'd made an excellent choice. The hotel itself is lovely in its design, architecture, and setting. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Upon check-in, we were offered a 1-bedroom suite instead of the basic room we'd booked, and I'm so glad we took it. The suite was perfect for our family of 3. The room was quiet, immaculately clean, and the bed was SO comfortable! The hotel's location was ideal as well. We enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast at their restaurant each morning, but walked down to the "Village" for dinner at night (each restaurant we went to was recommended by the front desk staff). All in all, a perfect stay, and we'll definitely be going back next time we're in the area!
