Property Amenities
The large landscaped pool and garden area is main focus in summer of the Hipocampo Palace, with open spaces for children to play, as well as quieter shady areas. The main pool is landscaped in a tropical style, with large white rocks and palm trees.

As well as a main piano bar there is a less formal lounge area, balcony terrace, a light and airy “quiet lounge” with large sofas, plus a games room with card tables and a large-screen TV for sporting events. Professional live musical and cabaret entertainment is provided six night of the week.
Rooms
This five-floor hotel includes 203 guestrooms and suites. The majority are in the main block with a smaller block at the rear of the hotel beside the swimming pool. Rooms and suites are decorated in a dark-wood finish with walnut-faced doors, and navy-and-gold soft furnishings. Architectural prints adorn the walls. Desks have 20-inch satellite TVs. Balconies have navy wicker chairs and tables, with sea or countryside views. Welcome gifts of typical island produce await guests. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided.
Bathrooms are tiled with honey-coloured marble floors and walls and white sink tops. All have bathtubs with separate showers, hairdryers, and complimentary toiletries.

Main restaurant - Light modern dining room with traditional dark wood cross-back chairs, and tables with pink-and-white table linen. Wooden panels, pictures and mirrors on the walls. Serves a hot and cold buffet of Mediterranean and international dishes, with show cooking and themed nights. Open for breakfast and dinner only.
Restaurant Sa Maniga - Regional and international dishes are served beside the pool on a covered terrace during the day. Open summer only.
Piano Bar - Formal lounge serving a large selection of drinks. Walnut-effect columns. Baby grand piano (live music nightly). Leads to another, less formal, lounge area and the front balcony of the hotel where drinks can also be taken.
Recreation
In summer the main attractions are swimming in large freeform pool, and sunbathing on the hotel's spacious poolside lawns. There are six red-clay tennis courts with a tennis coach on hand (surcharge for tuition), and also table tennis by the pool.
Year-round golf can be played at 15 courses around the island, two of which are within eight kilometres of the hotel. Guests enjoy up to a 20% discount on green fees.
