“Very impressed”
I stayed half board for a week in early Sept 07. Our room was cleaned daily, with maids willing to work around guests (i.e. they came back later if it wasn't convenient when they came to clean.) The food was reasonable with a good variety of options for breakfast (i.e. full english, continental, fruit, yoghurt, toast, cereal) there was always at least 4 choices for the evening meal, but we found we were being offered the same 4 choices most nights. Be prepared to pay for your drinks with evening meal. The pool is much smaller than I expected and we didn't use it at all. The beach is extremely close, so this wasn't a problem. The entertainment was not to our taste but again, with plenty of options in the resort, that wasn't a problem. The only issue was that it went on until midnight, and as it was outside, could be heard from our side of the hotel. However, unless you intend going to bed early, it wouldn't be a problem. The room was fairly standard but comfortable. We had all we needed + a tv (mostly German channels - but we could get BBC World & CNN.) Reception staff were very helpful, and had lots of information about buses, taxis, local attractions etc - you just have to ask. They also spoke very good English. The 2 lifts are very small (max 4 ppl each) and with 9 floors you may find you have to wait a while. Overall, I overall service, cleanliness and quality.
“Cheap Stay”
The old saying is true, you get what you pay for. Shower barely had water pressure. Beds were uncomfortable and it was noise until about 1am in the morning. Breakfast and food was very low quality. The elevator only fit 4 people and took forever.
