"I stayed at Elizabeth’s upstairs apartment with my husband and 5yo twins. Street parking was always available and the beach/pier was a short walk. We cooked in the kitchen and did laundry in the space provided. We used the beach toys, beach mats and umbrella. We opted to rent bikes as we wanted tandem bikes for our children which was an easy walk from the apartment, but beach bikes and helmets were available. "This was the perfect mini romantic weekend getaway from the busy city with such generous and sweet hosts (and their precious dogs!). The gorgeous backyard was spacious with so much room to lounge by the fire pits, run around, hit golf balls by the net, bbq, and much more. The pool and jacuzzi are both charming and relaxing, perfect for what we needed in a getaway. The guesthouse itself was also spacious and lovely, with plenty of room to feel comfortable and relaxed. "We visited Malibu for the Pepperdine graduation. It is 5 minutes away from the school. The property is comfortable, clean, spacious, and minimalistic. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The host was very responsive. You can see the ocean from the kitchen windows which means you can also hear the cars on the PCH. This was the perfect spot for us and would stay here again."

"We had so much fun in this house being right on the beach. Not a lot of people on this beach so it was has if we had our very on private beach. The pool and spa was a delight to have for some for my sisters kids that came to visit us. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. It had everything that we needed. "House was decent. Clean and roomy. There were some things that needed to be fixed. Ice machine didnt work, one electric socket was hanging out of the wall, the front door locked, but it looked as if a hard push would open it. Ping pong table was a fun addition. Overall it was a nice place"

"I went to see friends in the area. I was happy with my stay, however, there is some up keep needed such as the windows not all locked or were needing to ne replaced. I felt safe so that wasn't a concern. Getting to the water wasn't easy-going. A better pathway diwn would be nice. I use to live in the area so my review reflects being not just a guest but a former local."
