“Very good hotel”
evening entertainment every night was terrible.
“An oasis on the Costa.”
We'd stayed at the Triton before but not for ten years. Since we last visited they have doubled its size but curiously it all seemed to work better. There are now plenty of sunbeds and lots of umbrellas and the two pools were seldom really crowded. The newer rooms are larger and as comfortable as the old. It does however need to brush up on its security. There were a number of people around the pool that clearly werent guests and another family had a bag with money and credit cards stolen from their sunbeds. A guard on the back gate and an occasional check of your room number wouldnt go amiss. It is mainly visited by the Spanish and seems still not to have tour parties which is a relief. It is quite expensive but really worth the money
“Very impressed.”
Excellent hotel and variety of half board food very good.
“Would definitely return”
The situation of the 4 star Triton is ideally placed very close to the new marina where there is an abundance of bars, cafes and restaurants. It is possible to walk along the seafront promenade east through the charming fishing village of La Carihuela and onward into Torremolinos. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed.
“Overall Quite Good”
Overall the Triton is a good hotel, fab location and the food is excellent. The swimming pool area is also good. The only thing that lets it down is the hotel rooms, this was our thrid stay at the Triton and the rooms do need updating now.
“Great Hotel”
On arrival we found the staff not that helpful was directed to lifts but got lost as there is quite a few lifts in the hotel, found it eventually after going back to reception! Breakfast very good, choice of everything, swimming pools an terraces to sunbathe very good! Some of the staff were a bit grumpy! Evening meal very good, lovely food and lots of it! Our room was okay, but a bit smelly (drains),big beds, roomy. We went for just a lazy break, eat, sunbathe, drink and sleep, was great and would go back.
“Mixed review....”
The Triton has a wonderful location right on the beach and lovely pools as well. The facility istelf is worn and dated. My chief complaint is about the front desk. They were rude and unhelpful at every turn. No white glove treatment here!!!
