“Most enjoyable.”
We enjoyed the hotel very much. The food was excellent with an excellent variety.
“Nice Hotel.”
Lovely hotel close to everything would go back again very good food, very good pool area. main bar not so comfy.
“Very good hotel for the cost”
Not enough sunbeds and umbrellas particularly. Lots of sunbeds broken. This is our only complaint. We have stayed at this hotel three times now and have had the same complaint on each occasion.
“Value for money”
Good food, and friendly staff. In a central position near bars, restaurants and Marina. Near bus stop for nearby Arroyo, Torremolinos and Fuengirola. 10 mins. walk to lovely Paloma Park. Daily towel changes and clean rooms. Hotel and gardens spacious and attractive. This is a 3 star hotel - not a 4 star luxury hotel - it does what it says on the label! The only negatives are the hotel although not a great walk to same is on a steep hill and not suitable for people with walking difficulties. The outside of the hotel definitely needs a coat of paint. Otherwise a great value for money hotel. Would return some time in the future and would definitely recommend.
“Nice place for "out of season" stay!”
I would really recommend the hotel Sirocco and the place Benalmadena for a trip "out of season". The place is still "alive" but not crowded, and the prices is fairly low. Fly to Malaga and take the train to Torremolinos. From there you can take the bus or a taxi. Ask the busdriver for you hotel, they usually know where to get off.
“Would go back tomorrow”
We've stayed at the Siroco before and it's has never let us down. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the food is good, varied and plentiful. One drawback is the hill you have to climb from the beach.
“Not for us”
Dining room poor, would not stay there again,
“Good Location”
Room was quite basic - no fridge or hairdryer - but on the plus side it was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was 35 degrees when we were there and the air con was great if a bit noisy. We only booked 12 days before going so didn't get the best located room - we were on the side of the hotel where there was building work going on and had a view of a massive crane, but actually didn't find it too noisy. There's a lot of building work going on in the area. The reception staff were helpful if you got them at a quiet time but when there were queues of people booking in they got a bit harrassed. The sunbeds are left out all night so we found people were leaving towels on them all night to claim them the next morning! The food was good but as a vegetarian some dishes weren't labelled and so wasn't sure what was in them. Also the indoor bar was never open so you had to go to the poolside bar if you wanted a drink in the day. The beach is only a short 5-10 minute walk and is very clean and there were always sunloungers to hire. Only a couple of minutes from hotel to the main road with regular buses running along the coast. The entertainment in the hotel was poor but you are spoilt for choice around the marina which is lively well into the early hours. The best thing about this hotel is the location close to the beach, the main road if you want to take a bus to travel along the coast, and only a short walk to the marina at night but not too close to get all the noise.
