“Very Good Overall Hotel”
I stayed at the Vistamar in May 07 anf found it at the best end of the resort. The reception staff where brillant and the bar staff excellent. The housemaids were also very goog. The entertainment was of a high class. very impressed with the Magic Show. The only thing which spolit it for me was the road up to the hotel, it is so steep. I was pleased that up to 1800 the garge door on the ground floor was left open, but when this was closed the walk was a killer as the reception was on the 4th floor.Other than that best hotel in the area.
“This is living!”
This was a very good deal and the staff and amenities were excellent. Spitting distance from the great beach and plenty of eateries. The kitchenette is really helpful, especially if you want to save money on food- recommended. A supermarket withing walking distance. Good bar and terrace- we stayed an extra day. Quepa!
“Would Certainly Recommend it”
The VISTAMAR is certainly one of the best looking Hotels on the Benalmadena Costa, most of the others look a bit tired from the outside. It is a great location for the beach although you do have to cross a busy road there are plenty of designated crossing points. The pool area is great too and has a nice pool bar with very friendly staff. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby especially if you enjoy seafood; and the VISTAMAR has a decent looking restaurant although we did not use it ourselves. The Only two minor faults were that although our Apartment was spotlessly clean and the rooms are well equipped the maid service only empties the waste bins every other day, other wise the Cleanliness of your room would have rated a 5. I found the sofa bed a little uncomfortable and again Comfort of your room would have rated a 5.
“Very nice hotel”
The apartment was lovely and the whole place was clean and well kept. Geniunely walking distance from the beach - and the stretch of bars and restaurants for the evening. Typically despite the hotel's signs requesting towels were not left on the beds around the pool this was ignored, so if you're looking to laze around the pool you'd be best to get down there in plenty of time. The pool has a bar and toilet facilities meaning no trips back upstairs, and is completely enclosed giving peace of mind to those with families. The twin rooms consist of two beds which are pushed together and there is no room to move them apart. This was fine for us as I went with a close friend, but may be close for comfort if you prefer your personal space. Overall a lovely place to stay.
“Really Good 1st time to costa del sol”
the hotel is really nice and friendly it helped by have a large end room it is on a steep hill and that was hard with children but overall the food and hotel are excellent but pool not heating and we went at end of october and even though the weather was lovely children couldn't bear the pool as it was too cold which was a shame would stay here again

Area:
Benalmadena, Spain: Benalmadena divides into two discrete parts: five kilometres inland is the original quiet, traditional, whitewashed village; on the coast is the new seaside resort of Benalmadena Costa, featuring a lively glitzy marina. The latter adjoins the less frenetic end of Torremolinos, with its sandy beaches, myriad family attractions and good water sports facilities.
