"The facility is like most Hampton Inns, very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and always with a smile. Breakfast was very, good, hot and fresh. Room was clean and as a king bed suite, roomy with desk and couch. Area is not the best, mostly because there is not much around, kind of desolated. But 3 blocks away you have everything from mall, riverwalk, The Alamo, and downtown San Antonio. The price was unbeatable and we would stay again without any problem. "

I am admittedly used to staying in nicer hotels, but I was honestly shocked this was even 3 star. It seems 2 at best. Everything is so old that it doesn't feel "clean," if that makes sense. But it sufficed for what I needed. I also think I overpaid for what I saw the rooms going for earlier. "
