"This house is really nice and a perfect spot for 2 adult couples. Bedrooms with their own bathrooms on either side of the cabin, a beautiful overlook balcony of the river, and huge windows everywhere to take in the scenery. The owner was really nice and easy to communicate with via text and gave helpful instructions to find the place. It is far off the main road so I suggest traveling in an SUV or a car well off of the ground. My only star taken was for the accuracy of the listing as it says...

"Lorraine is a great host, providing so many small touches that make your stay so comfortable. The house is cozy but not cramped The mattress was also very comfortable. The winding staircase is tight and could be an issue for some so keep that in mind. The location is quiet and peaceful"

"My family and I rented the cabin to find a quiet place to relax while I ran a ultra marathon. The cabin is in an absolutely peaceful location. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. The host really did a great job in making sure you had everything you needed and more to be comfortable and happy. We are already planning our next visit."

"We had two families staying, each with a 3 year old. The house was well stocked, not just in the kitchen, but with activities and entertainment both for adults and kids. Loved being able to take the kids on the nearby waterfall hike and to have all the space out back for them to explore. The only note I'd add is that sound does carry in the house so we had to work around that at kids bed and naptimes. Would definitely visit again!"

"What a pleasant little cottage, centrally located to Harrisburg, Bridgewater, and Staunton with easy access to Shenandoah National Park and several area wineries and breweries. There’s a great porch and deck area to relax and unwind outside, with ample open grassy areas as well."
