We stayed in a large king suite and we didn’t want to leave. Everyone at the property was very attentive and the amenities were on point. We could have stayed two or three more days. The neighborhood is wonderful for bars and unique shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back.

The property was very attractive but not set up well for visitors. The rooms were very dark, in the bathroom the lighting was so bad that it was difficult to put on make up. The coffee that was supposed to be in the lobby from 5 am was gone by 6:45. There were no eggs one day for breakfast. The valet lost our car keys and the “app” that you had use to get your car was hard to use. The ice machine was a joke. It had a loose plastic bag in it with a few cubes. You just had to reach your hand in and get the cubes. I would never return there and for the price certainly not recommend it

I loved absolutely everything about this charming boutique hotel. The rooms were immaculate and I loved the décor. Bathrooms were large and gorgeous as well. The location was probably my favorite aspect of the hotel as it was mere minutes walking to some amazing restaurants. Will definitely make this my hotel of choice whenever I visit Louisville.

This property is so beautifully detailed from the hotel bar down to the bath towels, both so comfortable and beautiful. The staff were professional and kind in all encounters, from the fro t desk to the restaurant wait staff. I’d be happy to return.

A fabulous boutique hotel is located in Louisville. The location is phenomenal, with many restaurants, bars, and things to do. The neighborhood felt safe and had a great vibe all around. The room was perfect, and the rooftop bar was incredible

Nice spot in the heart of NuLu. Lots of great food and drink options within walking distance. Room was very nice and clean. A great place to stay in Louisville.

My only complaint is the parking situation. You have to pay $35 for valet parking if you don’t want to park on the street and have a little bit of a walk to get inside the hotel. Otherwise I absolutely loved it. The vibe was amazing, it was clean and the staff was friendly.

Overall a disappointing stay. My first room had a broken bed and then the second room had holes in the shower wall. I was told by the receptionist that “they had over 100 check outs today which will be why the rooms aren’t right”…… I was told that he would have his manager Andrew reach out which never happened. Had to weight 30 minutes to leave my key with the valet. All staff were not experienced and quite frankly didn’t care about any issues with the exception of the friendly staff at the roof top bar.

My husband and I stayed for a weekend getaway and loved the hotel and atmosphere. The shops were all great and we enjoyed the dining options. The only suggestion would be a little more lighting in the rooms.

We seriously loved everything about this hotel--so nice and friendly and unlike other chain hotels--rooftop bar has great views and food and service; nice rooms with great views; interesting decor. Fun, interesting neighborhood.

Perfect location whether you are looking for good food, bourbon, baseball or brewery, they are all within a couple of blocks. The Hotel Genevieve was beautiful and had a 1960s old school feel, of course that did make for low lighting in the rooms, but the vibe made up for it along with the extremely comfortable beds.

It is a nice boutique hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and good mannered. Some of the best in the industry for sure. However this hotel was not for me. Only small issues such as not very good lighting in the bedroom, bathroom was large but shower and toilet were very small. Water pressure was low but tons of hot water. The mini fridge was full of their beverages no room for anything else. Overall it's a good hotel just not for everyone

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend stay here! It’s a great area that offers lots of great eating, shopping, and drinks all within close proximity. This is a smaller boutique style hotel and offers a boho vibe with a sprinkle of funky or at least that’s the best I can describe it. The rooms are nice, in room robes, fully stocked fridge and snacks, although they do charge, but it’s a nice option when you get the munchies! The bed was extremely comfortable, great for water pressure, which is a big plus for me. They have a great restaurant called Rosettes and had great service and food. We also enjoyed an evening at their rooftop bar called Bar Genevieve. They have drinks and light snacks. Indoor and outdoor seating. Luckily, we had a relatively warm evening and were able to sit outside and enjoy the view of Louisville. We didn’t get to do the speakeasy, as our bellies were full and eyes tired. Would stay here again.

Always a pleasure. I’ve stayed at Genevieve a dozen or so times somce they opened in 2022. It’s my home base whenever I’m in Louisville. Very comfortable. Love the area. The egg on egg sandwich in the hotel restaurant is a must! So delicious.

Great spot for a hotel, parking is tough, but once you find somewhere to park this is the perfect spot to stay.
