Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort & Spa will offer guests the selection of two restaurants and three bars to enjoy during their stay. There are Sommeliers and Master Tequiliers on the property, as well.
La Roca serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily from 7:00 am – 10:00 pm. Here you’ll enjoy Chef signature specialties, along with international dishes and Baja California seafood. The cuisine has to be special. It competes with the incredible view. La Roca Restaurant offers a unique concept not found elsewhere in the area. For our most discerning guests, we create special menus that offer a true culinary experience. Taking advantage of the kitchen’s open design, the restaurant offers a menu with seven courses, each explained by the Maitre d’. Sommeliers are on hand to recommend pairings from our wine cellar, including the finest vintage of Valle de Guadalupe.
The Lobby Bar is a warm and comfortable spot for a favorite beverage and snack. For poolside dining, Las Olas Pool Bar and Las Brisas Sushi Bar are the perfect choice for the health conscious.
Don Luis restaurant features tantalizing flavors of Baja Mediterranean cuisine including daily fresh organic vegetables, fresh fish, Pacific Lobster, Black Angus cuts, Organic free range chicken, multi course Tasting Menus and seasonal Mexican food festivals by region among other culinary highlights. Open from 6:00pm – 10:00pm.
As an added bonus, Grand Solmar guests have the opportunity to enjoy the six additional restaurants at the other hotels in the Solmar family, as well as the Solmar restaurants in downtown Cabo San Lucas.
Entertainment
With such close proximity to the Sea of Cortes and other Los Cabos attractions, guests at the Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort & Spa will have access to a myriad of land and sea activities such as world class golf, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, horse back riding, shopping in downtown Cabo San Lucas and sunset boat rides. All activities can be booked directly through the hotel.With their own fleet of customized boats, Solmar Hotels & Resorts offers guests access to the largest and most experienced sport fishing fleet in Cabo San Lucas. Compromised of customized diesel powered sport fishers, the size of your boat, from 28 feet to 36 feet long, can be tailored to meet the comfort and number of passengers on the boat. Boats are equipped with a captain and mate, two fighting chairs, live bait tank, interior cabin, fishing tackle and line as well as safety equipment. These boats mainly target billfish including striped, black and blue marlin. All reservations can be made by calling Solmar Resort or the Solmar Fishing Fleet Office, using the information in the confirmation received after booking.
Recreation
A private beach and a health club are featured at the resort. In addition to an outdoor pool, other recreational amenities include a fitness facility. As a guest, you will have access to world-class golf, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, kayaking and just about any other activity you can think of. That includes shopping. Downtown Cabo San Lucas is but a 10-min walk away and teems with distinctive boutiques and world famous stores. Spa
Guests at Grand Solmar will be able to experience Playa Grande’s premiere Thalassotherapy center and Grand Solmar’s beach side Sea Spa cabanas.
Using the practice of Thalassotherapy as a guide, the Thalassotherapy Spa features seawater baths and seaweed based treatments for prevention and curing purposes and incorporates seawater from the Sea of Cortes. To best serve each guest, a regimen of personalized therapies are adapted to meet each person’s individual needs.
Grand Solmar Land´s End Resort offers a Sea Spa Experience located at the beautiful Land´s End Terrace facing the Pacific Ocean. Achieve total relaxation by hearing the sound of the waves and feeling the light sea breeze. You can also enjoy a personalized session in the privacy of your room.

“Very nice but lose the sales pitch”
The hotel is connected to a company selling time shares. They need to lose the sales pitch coming in the door. Other than that it was a terrific place. Quiet side of Cabo. Not for the party crowd but great for those who don't want to hear the all night parties.

Great resort and great staff! Stayed for one week and did not want to come home. The resort is breath taking, and the staff is wonderful. We will miss you sammy !!They could not do enough for you. The location is great just a short walk to restaurants and shops. There is construction still going on but didn't affect us at all. Can't wait to book a return trip next year. 5 star all the way!!!!!!
“Great Vacation”
We just returned from a 4-day trip to Grand Solmar, it was the best. The building, the staff, the grounds were classy all around. The room grand master suite was perfect for our family of four, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining area and living room. The only complaint was the murphy bed wasn't too comfortable. The maid service was great and we loved the pool staff. There's a free shuttle to take you back and forth to the Playa Grande if you want more activities, but it was great to relax by the pools and watch the waves. We were on the "construction" side of the building, but the noise was never a bother. Its an easy walk into town. We saw whales everyday we were there from our balcony or the pool. We climbed the rocks to Lovers Beach one day, which was great. The kids were itching to go into the ocean, which isn't an option by the hotel, but a quick trip over the rocks and they could play in the waves. There are no laundry facilities (which I usually like to have) onsite but are available at Playa Grande. Overall it was a great stay and we'd go back in a heartbeat!
“Just What We Needed!!”
We traveled to Cabo to escape the busyness of New York City and had some reservations about the Grand Solmar because of the comments about the construction. We decided in the end that the resort looked so unique and beautiful that we would take our chances and we were so glad that we did!! The resort is spectacular! It's beautifully designed with views of the ocean from almost every vantage point. The attention to detail both in the public areas and in the suites is remarkable. The sound of the crashing waves of the ocean is present everywhere - we kept our balcony door open at night and slept very peacefully. The infinity pools were just gorgeous - nothing better than peering over the edge of the pool to enjoy the ocean. We even saw a family of seals swim by. The staff was so attentive to our needs - always going beyond the call of duty. We can't wait to go back and highly recommend the Grand Somar to anyone traveling to Cabo.
“Beautiful resort!”
This is an amazing new resort! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Each room is beautifully furnished with ocean views from the balcony. There are plenty of swimming pools...all infinity edge...right on the Pacific Ocean where you can lay in the sun on comfortable chaise lounges while listening to huge waves crashing onto shore and watch cruise ships sailing by or whales jumping in the water. Truly a wonderful place to stay.
“Nov 2011”
The rooms and grounds were spectacular. Staff was friendly, but not too attentive. I wouldn't be back for another few years. Construction is still going on and will be for quite some time. Nothing like waking to the sound of circular saws! Breakfast was expensive ($45.00 for the buffet) and there is only one restaurant on site (they publicize 8 restaurants, but all are at neighboring hotels or in town)...
“Unsatisfied in Solmar”
The hotel is on the beach but you cannot walk on the beach, the waves are too big. The staff constantly gets on you if you put one toe in the sand. The hotel is in middle of construction and has a big eye sore of a new building being built right in the way of your ocean view. The staff was friendly but the time share vultures tried time and time again to sell you time share. The concierge booked me on events that forgot about us and never picked us up , then booked us on a boat that didnt exists. I did get my money back and booked a better boat myself down at the docks for half the cost and alot better boat. The hotel is not to kid foriendly and was practically empty while we were there. They charged for wifi that was not strong at all and you kept disconnecting.
“AVOID, AVOID, AVOID !!!”
Just landed and could not wait to get the word out in an attempt to save any other potential guests. I'm a single girl looking for a spa get-a-way, and their website looked fantastic. Website is inaccurate!! Grand Solmar does not have an 'on-site health club', you need to take 2 shuttles to sister property to pay $10/day and use theirs. Grand Solmar does not have 'on-site full-service spa facility', you need to take 2 shuttles to sister property and pay their higher rates. Grand Solmar does not have working satellite TV. I had to suffer through Spanish only for 3 days, and NO pay per view movies as advertised. Pools were cold. No robes, no slippers (as advertised), not even trash cans in the room. Wake-up call never came because "system is down". No check-out statement available because "system is down". Management could have cared less, never made an attempt to apologize or accommodate. Hotel is under construction and obviously working out the bugs. Gorgeous beachfront, nice rooms, and picturesque pools. Will be a nice full-service hotel...once complete in about 3 years.
