From the outside this modern pub looks clean, well designed & welcoming. Above the pub is a collection of stunning rooms right out of the pages of Restoration Hardware catalog. Modern, well-appointed & beautifully designed. Our room was immaculate. And despite being above a pub on an active street it was incredibly quiet. The staff was very welcoming & extremely accommodating. We ate dinner at the Pub and the food was fantastic! My hubby loves meat & potatoes and I'm a vegetarian and we both had many options. Only 2 changes might help. 1 minor: provide washcloths (which may just be a US thing). 2 less minor: Install a handrail in the shower since getting out of the high tub could be dangerous.

We can’t say enough about this wonderful little pub and rooms. We stayed here for more than a week and from arriving and being warmly welcomed with a coffee in the pub before going to our room to our sad goodbye there has never been a warmer, more comfortable place! Leonardo is a gem and he and the staff accommodated our every need so graciously. The rooms are spotless and charming! you will love staying here!

Location is near Paddington although husband n I prefer the convenience of buses to travel around as less need to navigate stairs. Room is a little small although very clean n beds were comfortable. No lifts to get to the rooms so place will not be suitable for anyone with mobility or issues with climbing steps. Staff was excellent n really friendly. They helped me bring my luggage up n down my room. A number of restaurants around n you can also dine at the pub in the premise. Overall excellent boutique hotel for 2

Perfect place to stay in London!! Great clean, cute, comfy rooms. Food in the pub is amazing, awesome selection of beers and staff are so so friendly and kind. A 15 walk from paddington station and 10 to bayswater tube station Would not stay anywhere else in London.

Well the fact that is part of a pub was a great experience. People might be afraid that it would be noisy but the rooms are perfect and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helped us with our luggage. Super clean and the food at the pub was excellent. I would really recommend the fish and chips ans staying here for the whole experience.

Perfect position Bill Grangers a few minutes walk up the same street. Portobello road around the corner. Clean well appointed rooms restaurant gave us a discount because we were staying there. Loved the photos of dogs in uniform on the walls, very cute.

Nice room but uncomfortable bed
Nice sized room, quiet, cold bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable, l dont think the mattress is that old, so very strange it should be so uncomfortable, Sealy, perhaps cheapest model??? It needs checking, dont just press your hand on it!

What a wonderful find in Notting Hill!
Quiet, clean and with special touches.....be ready for winding steps leading up to well appointed rooms. We hoped they had food options in the morning but there are plenty of places close by. Other than that.....had a great stay.

I wanted to stay somewhere not flooded with tourist. This is definitely a place to stay. We ventured out everyday and would come back and sit outside and have a drink with a mean or snack. There is a small store right beside it, so anything you need is right there. Just a few blocks from Portobello Rd and the tube. Some decent restaurants in the area as well. Hayden restaurant was good and Sunday roast was a huge plate of food. There is no elevator, so for those who have limitations, be advised about it. Overall stay and staff were great.

My husband and I stayed here for the last few days of our honeymoon and loved it! We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was to be staying above a pub over a weekend. The room was cozy and well furnished. We were on the top floor and so naturally there were quite a few stairs to climb but very manageable. We also ate and had a few drinks at the pub and we found it all delicious! I will definitely stay again!

Excellent stay at the Hayden. The room was quiet (double glazed sash windows) and air-conditioned - a rarity in this country. Decor was tasteful, bed and pillows very comfortable, and the bathroom was well set out.

I thought that since I was staying above a pub that it would be noisy, but the pub is more a restaurant than a drinking establishment. The room was quiet, clean, and very comfortable.

Exceeded our expectations in every way!
From the moment we arrived at the property, the staff treated us like we had Elite Status! We were gifted welcome drinks while our luggage was taken to our room! The cheerful pub was bustling with afternoon patrons…the atmosphere was so inviting, we decided to make a dinner reservation for our first night…a very good choice! Our room was outfitted in an updated traditional aesthetic with every convenience imaginable…lovely linens, plush robes and a nice selection of complimentary snacks, water, coffee & tea. The location was terrific with excellent restaurants and shopping nearby. Easy access to the Underground only minutes away! The Hayden exceeded our expectations on every level…if you like a more intimate accommodation with character and quality, stay at The Hayden Pub & Rooms!!!

Best Place EVER!!
We were at the Hayden for 8 days and on our last day we were so sad to go! We loved it it here! The service, the bed (OMG, the best bed!!) and great food in the pub made our stay incredible. It’s a short walk to Bayswater or Paddington station and a short walk to Portobello Market. Loved this location so much! We will only stay here when we return to London!

The staff was exceptional! They were friendly, accommodating, and professional. All of the employees at The Hayden teamed together seamlessly to create a special atmosphere for its guests. There were also several unexpected perks dring such as discounts and complimentary items which only added to our positive experience. The room and bathroom were modern and furnished beautifully. They were so clean it seemed as if we were the first ones to ever stay in them. We highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for extraordinary accommodation. Finally, a huge thank you to the staff! Your efforts and hard work were noticed and very appreciated.

Fabulous stay in Nottinghill. Room was small but so, so quaint and decorated nicely. Bathroom ensuite was large and clean. Bed was incredibly comfortable with nice linens. Greeted upon arrival with a complimentary drink. Had complimentary bottled water and a chocolate bar in the room, which was a nice touch. Mini safe in room. Staff was super helpful - on our departure date, there was a transit strike on and they knew we had to catch a train to Paris in the morning. I wish I remember his name, but the fella called my cell in morning to let me know the traffic at St Pancras station was terrible and suggested we leave earlier to give us more time to get there. Was so thoughtful of him to do this!! Would definitely stay there again when in London!!
