All staff from check-in to cleaners were polite and friendly. Breakfast was perfect to set us up for the day. Was surprised to find the toilet and shower were screened off areas of the bedroom and there wasn’t a separate bathroom as such - there was a small sink in the room which was adequate. The partitions are frosted glass, so not really an issue unless you want total privacy for your ablutions. It certainly wouldn’t stop us returning. Only other negative (for us) was that we were looking forward to visiting the rooftop bar but were disappointed to find there was only available space inside and the music was not to our taste (dj playing house music). All said and done, a great option for an overnight stay/mini break in the centre of London. Will definitely be back 😊

I had a great stay at Amano. Rooms are a little on the small side especially if traveling with large or lots of luggage. Beyond that though the room was clean along with the rest of the property. I visited the restaurant and rooftop bar for drinks and both had great service and drinks. Would definitely recommend especially due to the area and walkability. Even with it being in a busy area you couldn’t really hear a thing from your room.

Great location, great staff however I found the hotel to be quite shabby. The room was dusty, the paint was peeling and not the standard you would expect. Upon returning from an evening event, I was disappointed to find marked bed sheets and duvet cover - dark orange and brown stains. The staff were happy enough to provide another room however having to move at 11pm and having a dirty room was extremely disappointing given the price of the hotel.

The staff were really friendly however, our room wasn't good. There was someone else’s hair all over the bed and in the hair dryer. There was someone else's hairbands on the floor and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. Our friends were given their room key & the room was already occupied. The blackout curtains dont black anything out because they are fitted too far off the wall. The hotel is very overly priced for what it is. £300 for 1 night isn't what we received.

The room we had contained very little storage. Just a couple of hangars above the kettle. No dressing table. Poor lighting. Poorly ventilated. Had to move kettle to plug it in which was dangerous due to there only being a tiny bedside shelf to use. After showers the bathroom floor was soaking despite us being careful. And the room was steamed up as no ventilation. Basic drinks supplied. Our cups had dried lip skin on them yuck! Bed was comfortable and the pillows are great but the matress moves so they fell down the gap by the headboard. Nowhere to store cases and bags.

Lovely place, really convenient for Covent Garden, restaurants, theatres, pubs. Generally a great location. Hotel has nice sized rooms, beds possibly a little hard for some but if you’re only staying a couple of nights this place is perfect. We were too tired to sample the roof top bar (maybe next time) but the restaurant for breakfast was great. Food was tasty, service was very good and fast. Really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Fantastic location a 2 minute walk away from Covent Garden Piazza. The staff were lovely and attentive as well as understanding and kind. Some rooms are slightly more 'used' than others but I believe they are refreshing.

We loved our stay at the Amano. The hotel is very stylish with a lot of on site facilities. It is in a perfect location to walk to local shops, bars and restaurants. The roof bar and Penelopes restaurant in the hotel were also excellent.

Perfect location for Theatreland/Royal Opera House. Comfortable and slept well. Probably better for short stays instead of long trips away - it does the basics fairly well, but doesn't have the comforts you might want for a longer visit. Value for money ok for the location and I would stay again, though it wasn't a particularly stand-out experience overall. Interactions with staff at front desk were a little mixed - could have perhaps been a little friendlier/more forthcoming at times.

Interior of rooms and public toilet lighting so so bad far to dark very hard to do your make up in rooms.

I love this cool little hotel in the heart of Covent Garden . Staff are so friendly and it has a fab rooftop bar looking over the city and the London eye.

The Roms where super small, so small that we didn’t have space for our suitcase. (Regular size) The location was very convenient, super centric and perfectly location for a weekend trip.

Location was great for the theatre, unfortunately we had to try and get to sleep with the sound of heavy club music belting away beneath us at the hotel bar. We were on level 3, feel sorry for anyone closer than us.

superb location in Covent Garden. Very comfortable bed, although room quite compact. very little work surface space for tea/coffee making unless brewed in the open wardrobe. only 1 stool. Difficulty with soap dispensers and oddly operating light switches. Staff brilliant and helpful. Rooftop bar on the pricey side. However an overall nice stay for a couple of nights.

Boutique Hotel but noisy guest.
Nice small boutique hotel. Great staff who were very helpful when disrespectful guests were having a party at 4am! Good location, just very noisy in the night and having to get up early it ruined the next day.
