Inexpensive but no amenities that they talk about.
I booked this hotel because it was inexpensive and I was traveling with my family. The first thing that I noticed was there were ground up potato chips that were inside and on the air conditioner. There were only two towels in the room and when I asked the front desk for more towels , they told me they did not have additional towels unless I was staying an extra day. I shut the light off in the bathroom at the end of the day and the GFCI outlet next to the sink popped. No about 7 AM the next morning. There was banging on the wall in the room adjacent to me. Then I heard an impact driver by our door shortly after an air compressor came on.. I discovered they were working on renovating the room next to ours and did not wait until at least 8 AM to begin. I booked the hotel partly because They advertised having a breakfast. The next morning when I called the office to ask where the breakfast was. They said "we have coffee in the lobby." They had nothing to eat at all just coffee. So, after having to go to a drive through for a quick breakfast, it would have been cheaper to book a nice hotel that actually had a breakfast in the first place

It was decent for the price. We stayed for 1 night. The cleanliness was okay. It had a hot shower, cable and Wi-Fi. Checking in went quick and smooth. Same for checking out.

The only good thing was easy access to the highway. Other than that not recommended place to stay. The rooms outdated and where not clean. Sure the beds where made but you can see the walls & floor where filthy. Everything seemed broken. The only reason we ended up staying here was because it was late at night & where very tired. Skip this one, pay a little more for a better one.

Property served its purpose for the money spent. The bed was very comfortable and slept well. Area was quiet, but the security bars surrounding the hotel parking perimeter were a little concerning. The bathroom needed to be updated or at least care taken to paint the door and trim with some professionalism. Really bad and presented horribly. Towels and wash cloths were really thin and cheap. An upgrade here would go a long way in customer satisfaction. The staff was the best thing about this hotel. So nice and friendly.

Room was disgusting, roaches crawling around the room, located in the a bad neighborhood, very uncomfortable and sketchy location and room, the staff were awful. Room doesn’t look like the pictures and was set up with mirrors on the headboard and ceiling.

I stayed 3 night called front desk asked for trash to be taken out and bed made while we were out. Left for 3 hrs came back nothing then housekeeper tells me she had a lot of rooms. And they have roaches. Bad.

UNFIT FOR OCCUPANCY
The room was quite hot when we arrived. The bathroom door was barely hanging on - even though one could tell that SEVERAL attempts had been made to re-secure the hinge. The vent did not work, and looked quite grungy. There was debris at the base of the bathroom door that needed to be swept up. The TV did not work. None of these things were mentioned during check-in. Neither was there any mention of the breakfasts that were supposed to come with the room. The room was on the second floor with no elevator. My husband and I both have leg issues, so this was very distressing. By morning, we were all freezing - the air conditioner finally started cooling while we were sleeping. This room was so disturbingly not fit to be occupied. Thankfully all we needed was a place to rest before continuing on to our next destination. I thought about taking pictures of the unsightly things in the room, but I did not. Booking for our next trip, I won’t even LOOK at an American Value Budget Inn as a possibility. My advice would be skip this one and move on to your next choice.

It is such an inconvieniance whrn you get to the hotel and they cant get into the email that the reservation is attached to only the manager can. It took 2hrs to check inn the room was not accommodating it was a rewards night and ive had better nights that ive paid for the front desk was polite but they are not all trained properly

Do not stay here unless you're looking to be robbed. Very sketchy neighborhood. "Projects" next door. Counter person is behind bulletproof glass. A lot of people were in the parking lot eyeballing my belongings in my truck. Two people told me my things were sure to be stolen in this parking lot.

Not a good place for a family. There were all kinds of things for sell in the parking lot (not rooms). Got in the room, it wasn't clean plus there were roaches everywhere. Tub was rusted, sink had hair in it, plus toilet seat broken. We checked out before midnight.... .

We were in a pinch and couldn’t find a place to stay. This was last minute and late at night, but they were VERY accommodating. We needed a rollaway bed for one of our kids and it was late, but they got us one quickly and either extra sheets, no problem. Very friendly staff. The one downfall is the advertised breakfast. Coffee and 2-3 little sugary breads on a cake plate doesn’t really constitute as breakfast. Otherwise, we were pleased with our stay. It was literally only for sleeping though.

The staff was great. Gnats were in my sink. Overall my stay was good, housekeeping came and made my beds and cleaned the room. I just wish the breakfast was better. You only get juice, coffee, and muffins.

Ok for the price.
I was there with my family for the weekend. We had 2 queen beds and a roll away for my kid. All the beds were super comfortable and the room was clean. I guess the only complain would be the strong smoke smell (I asked for non-smoking), even the towels smelled of strong smoke. I had to go and buy febreeze and sprayed it everywhere. Free WiFi, so that's a plus, also if you need an iron, you have to get it at the front desk, the staff is pretty nice. :) Not the best area, lots of homeless and hookers in front of it. Overall, this is an ok place, $50 a night so I guess you get what you pay for. :)
