Very good value. Easy in and out with ample parking. Very nice pub with affable barmen. Good restaurant. Able to walk to JJ Bowles, great little pub, oldest one in Limerick.
Good service all round - pity the car got side- swiped during the evening parked in the capark

The good: The staff and service were great. The room was clean and the location is great. They have free onsite parking.
The bad: The rooms are on the second floor and they do not have an elevator. My wife walks with a cane and the stairs were difficult for her. The staff did help with carrying our luggage up the stairs. The room was directly above the pub which was quite loud till around 1a.m. and the lights from the outside seating area of the pub were very bright even with the curtains drawn. Also the shower stall (no tub) is very small for a grown man, I could barely move in the shower. With that being said, I did not complain to the staff because we were tired and didn't feel like packing all our things back up to possibly move room (which I wasn't sure would've helped.)
Our stay as expected a small but practical room, unfortunately due to events on the weekend the price did not reflect the facilities or quality of hotel.
The property and guestrooms were very disappointing from what we expected. The noise from the pub below in our room was really intrusive and disrupted our ability to sleep. We had heard good things about the place and felt let down. Wouldn’t return.
The staff were overly welcoming and friendly. The dinner is gourmet and portions generous. Lee Ann even got us tickets to see the Wolf Tones one hour before the sold-out show!! The staff were genuinely interested in our plans for the day and gave suggestions that actually mage our trip FANTASTIC!
There is nothing i disliked about The Woodfield and i would recommend to anybody .The staff are so welcoming and polite, the service was excellent, the hotel was spotless, the food was delicious.I have stayed here a couple of times and would not hesitate to book again on my return.
Loved the hotel, the room, the location and the dining area. The food was absolutely delicious ! We ate breakfast and dinner. Such a great stay for just one night ! Free parking and excellent customer service
They have a glasses in “sun room” area and an outdoor patio area with overhead cover in case of rain. Really a great place to sit and enjoy service from restaurant and bar.
Lovely spot, old quaint hotel complete with restaurant and pub and outdoor patio. Staff were lovely. Busy street and area, we were able to walk all the way, some nature trails too, into Limerick to great bars with music.

It’s a nice little family run hotel, with a nice bar and a lovely outside bar/dining area. The auto-stop button push taps in the bedroom are really annoying and splashy, and it sort of indicates an old fashioned mistrust of the customer. But, other than that, it’s very nice and not a typical corporate hotel.
The staff were great. Leigh Ann went out of her way to assist us with making transportation reservations. The attached bar is quite nice to have so close and the food was good! Very hospital place to stay.
The staff was awesome. They were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The food was excellent and the pub was obviously popular with many in the neighbourhood. This turned out to be a wonderful choice for our first two nights in Ireland.
Not friendly at check-in. Horrible service for dinner- they “lost” our meals and the kitchen said the server brought it and the server said it was never ready. Manager apologized and offered dessert but when we went to select options, server said we couldn’t have dessert bc “chef had went home for the night.” Manager came to check when we flagged for the bill and when we told him they said no to dessert he made it happen. Beds uncomfortable. Room was stuffy. Lady was friendly at checkout so that was nice.
Very quiet. Staff was very friendly. Fantastic 9 night stay. Only blemish to the experience was the lack of air conditioning. A room fan was kindly provided, but it was still warmer than we were used to.

Nice but old.
Front desk staff was super peppy and helpful. Bar staff was informative and friendly. Rooms were burning up due to heat wave but had fans which were so lovely!!!

Woodfield House was conveniently located just outside the main Limerick city. The accommodations felt very clean and the outdoor dining area was absolutely lovely. We were able to do some grocery shopping at the store just down the street on our way out of town.
The staff seemed overworked with large crowds coming in to the restaurant to watch games and attend the event at the stadium across the street. Hotel guests during our stay seemed like an afterthought. The front desk staff person remarked on how busy they were and how that made it difficult to meet special requests. (We asked for an early check-in as we were just off the plane in Shannon at 5 a.m. that morning and jetlagged.).
Overall, the hotel has its strong points (very strong restaurant service), and we were grateful for a clean place to stay upon landing in Ireland.
