The building is unique and historical but renovated to feel like a new facility. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable for European standards. Breakfast was great, we did not have dinner at the hotel. Stayed in 2 rooms, 2 nights with day trips to Bern and Luzerne. My wife did have a very minor exchange 1 morning when asking the reception where the closest church was and the woman responded that they can not discuss religion. So that was a bit petty and weird."
