My girlfriend and I were spending 2 days and 1 night in Riomaggiore (Cinque Terre) while we were traveling through France and Italy. First thing to note is this is NOT a hotel. This is a set of 3 (maybe 4) rooms in a house that have been converted for guests. Although the town is historic, the rooms are not. Our room was modernly furnished and recently renovated. If you have one of the rooms with a view then you lucked out because the view and balcony are amazing!!! The bed is big, the room is clean and the bathroom is nice and modern. If you are driving definitely aim to check-in while there is still light (before 6PM) navigating the roads to riomaggiore can be difficult/scary at night and you have a better chance of pulling your car up to the house, unloading your bags and finding a parking spot outside the gate. (You cant drive inside cinque terre) All of which is almost impossible at night as parking will be scarce and the gate will most likely be closed. If you are taking the train it is very easy just take the elevator to the top and Sol Levante will be one the first houses you see. Definitely call ahead of time to coordinate check-in and directions.
Stayed at La Spezia one night so we could day trip to Cinque Terra. Had enough time to visit the resort and beach area of La Ricci (only about 15 mins away). The hotel is only a few blocks from the shopping district and some of the higher rated restaurants. The breakfast buffet was very good. Lots of variety and an awesome self serve espresso machine. The hotel can park your car for 20 euro or if you can find a blue spot you can park overnight by buying the ticket after 8pm.

We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Firenze. Our room had a great view with a balcony and it was a great spot for a drink in the evening. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent each morning.

We wanted to be neaer the Cinque Terra and regretted not staying in one of the charming towns.
BUT we changed our mind as soon as we reached MY ONE. It was charming, the front desk staff VERY nice, very helpful.
We very much enjoyed the room - it had an extra room with a courtyard that was simply amazing. i cannot recall the room number but our stay was Sept 24 and 25
I was worried because I booked this hotel knowing there were some bad reviews. It was all I could find available. The room was perfectly fine. The bed spread was dated, but the room was clean and close to the train station. We arrived late because there was a train strike. I called ahead of time to let them know because I know the check-in is on the main street, and the room is down a side street. The check in location closes around 7:30, and we didn't arrive until 9:00. They hid the key for me, so when we arrived and I called them - they directed me to where the key was hidden. I'd definately stay here again. I loved Riomaggori!

My single room was small but very well equipped and clean. The new windows and outside heavy screen eliminated street noise and the AC worked. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Price was great and location near train station and a short and safe walk to pedestrian piazzas was very convenient

We stayed here recently and wondered what we were getting when we had to check in at the other hotel first. But even though this is an unusual setup, it was fantastic! Right across from the beach; the room was recently renovated with nice amenities. AC worked great, even had a little fridge for overnight storage of leftovers. Would go back for sure!

I contacted the hotel before we left requesting for a cot for our 11 month old baby and when we turned up a cot was already set up in the room which was a nice touch. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us lots of advise on train timetable, restaurants close by, what to see, train tickets etc. Buffet breakfast offers great variety. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you are travelling with little ones.
