"The grounds are beautiful. Well maintained. There were multiple events outside on the lawn.
Breakfast at Greenfinch (?) was good and filling. The wait staff were attentive.
The day we were at the pool, the cafe was closed.
If you go to the pool, go early. If you wait, there may not be any chairs. We had to rent a cabana. Definitely not worth the money. In the first cabana, the TV didn’t work. In the second cabana, the fan didn’t work. We were told maintenance would come to fix it. That didn’t happen. Additionally, the pool waitstaff did their best to keep. But, we only saw the waitstaff once during our 5 hour pool time.
The rooms were large, as were our the bathrooms. Good water pressure in the shower. The beds were comfortable.
The valet staff were amazing. Prompt, efficient and professional. Out of all the service we had here, definitely the best. I saw many people (leadership staff walking around in suits). They never spoke, nor asked how the stay was. Additionally, after all of the issues with the Caban, no one apologized nor asked if we would like a discount. Very disappointing.
Compared to other resorts (we travel frequently), I would not return. The reason I gave it a 4 is for the valet staff and grounds. Otherwise, I would have given it a 3.
Also, if you aren’t from California, the weather in the morning and evening was cool."
