"The room was very nice, friendly staff and the breakfast was wonderful. Location is excellent too. Our only complaint is the smell of the fish garbage from the adjoining restaurant that wafts into the hotel lobby. It’s not the hotel’s responsibility but they need to work out a solution with the restaurant owner or the hotel is likely to lose customers. "

"The hotel is in a superb position at the centre of Chatelaillon-Plage. Our Superieure room on the 2nd floor faced the sea and was quiet and comfortable. There is a large public car park about 300m away, or parking in adjacent streets. Parking is free outside July and August. Breakfast was good, with a range of bread, baked goods, savouries, etc., although the fresh fruit selection was uninspired. The carpet in our room was quite marked, but otherwise all was in good condition."

"What a perfect hotel!! Amazing location- close to the centre of Saint Martin. But so quiet and peaceful! Staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. They knew us by name on arrival. The hotel is old and beautiful. Thoroughly recommend and will return without a doubt!"

"Perfect place to stay to explore La Rochelle. In the heart of the old town and surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops. A small supermarket is located nearly next door. Walking distance from the train station - less tha. 5 minute flat walk. Friendly staff, clean room with large comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Excellent breakfast available which we had both mornings. "Stayed here for 2 nights and what a fabulous sanctuary, we know the town well from numerous day trip but wanted to stay overnight to see the beautiful lace go to sleep and wake up. The hotel is right in the middle of Saint Martin but so far away from the tourist throng. It is amazing, so chic and comfortable, the garden with pool is so quiet,the owner so friendly and if you stay you must have drinks in the tower, what views"
