Pros: location, amenties, pool, spacious elegant clean rooms with city views
Cons: staff were helpful they would often call us a little too often to check everything was ok! this was a problem when we had just got the kids to sleep!

Fabulous place to stay right in the heart of KLPosted 19/11/2013
Pros: ROOM. STAFF.ROOM STAFF. Location.
Cons: Nothing that we could see
Location: We walked everywhere except to Mid Valley Mall and the Hotel is 30 mins walk to Petronis Towers. 10 mins walk to the main shopping areas and transport
We stayed at the Parkroyal from the 10th of November 13 and had booked for 7 nights. We had never travelled to Kuala Lumpur before so when you hit a new city it is always a bit daunting, not knowing your way around etc. From the moment we entered the Hotel we were welcomed by the friendly security guys then the counter check in staff were brilliant. We had read some bad reviews at other places so did not really know what to expect. We had a room on the 15th floor which was very clean and modern. There was kitchenette with more than enough items to prepare brekky or dinner. We did make brekky a couple of mornings but we prefer to go out experience a city which includes eating out. But more than enough utensils for those wanting to cook. The pool on the roof, level 31 has the best views i have ever seen. The Hotel is city located and 10 mins walk to Chinatown, a monorail is also close by. We will definately stay there again. We locked up our room and went to Langkawi for 2 nights then returned to the Parkroyal and there were no problems with that.

Wonderful hotelPosted 10/11/2013
I stayed at the Park Royal twice either side of a month long trip & both times had a fantastic large suite, once on the 30th floor with views of the Petronas Towers. I was expecting a continental breakfast but it was actually closer to American, including two egg chefs. Great location, friendly & helpful staff, nice rooftop pool, I really couldn't fault it!

Great location, modern decor, friendly staffPosted 10/11/2013
Pros: The location, the cleanliness (not common in KL), friendly and helpful staff, value for money
Cons: Clearer instructions / directions on how to get there. KL is short of street signs and over-enthusiastic taxi drivers (is there a connection?)
Location: Lots of local eateries, the pavilion shopping centre, monorail which links to other forms of public transport
Hotel is located within a two block walk to shops and monorail, or 15 minutes via air-conditioned walkway to Petronas towers, Convention Centre, and KL city centre. Blue cabs are clean and quick, and reasonable cost. Staff at this hotel are super friendly and efficient. The hotel is so clean! Breakfast is good - adequate for a busy traveller. The alternative is to buy provisions and cook your own in your room, all the kit is available. Rooms are spacious, well appointed with TV, DVD, WiFi, etc.

great location and facilitiesPosted 31/10/2013
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stopover in KL staying at the Park Royal. The facilities were good although the hot water did not work in the kitchen. This wasn't a major issue as we didn't have time for cooking in the apartment. Staff were lovely and friendly. We travelled with a baby and found this to be a suitable place to bring her. We enjoyed dinner in the street markets in Jalan Allor and the roof top pool for a swim at night.

Great family friendly hotelPosted 31/10/2013
These suites are great for families. Fully equipped kitchen and a huge bathroom! The staff are eager to help with any request. The breakfast is a great touch, with a large choice. Easy to access great restaurants and tourist activities.

Nice but expensive for KLPosted 29/10/2013
Location: Ok location but KL is a business destination rather than a tourist Mecca
2 bed suite which was nice but expensive , would probably use again but would query rates directly with park royal to seek more competive rate
