The property was very rundown and in need of major renovations. Wooden floors creaked so loud that it sounded like we were crushing egg shells. Rooms were cleaned everyday, but not too well. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was ok. Location was fantastic. However, with so many hotels in the area at similar prices I will be choosing a different place next time.

Nice location and overall a very good stay
Many more positives than negatives, the location was brilliant for a stay and at the price the hotel was good value for money. Staff at check in and for breakfast were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast offering was good, but was let down by the ‘hot’ options. Providing you are happy with bread and meats you will love breakfast. My partner however prefers a cooked breakfast and the options for this were limited and not particularly nice, probably because it was served as a buffet. The hotel was well cleaned, but the cleaning staff were let down by the outdated bathroom that needed a revamp. One of the more annoying aspects was the two separate duvets that were given to us in a double room. Not sure if this is the case all the time but it was not great for a couple.

It’s location - in the centre of the old town - makes it ideal for exploring on foot. The breakfast is very generous and staff are very helpful and friendly. Th only downside for us was the stairs to our room.

Within the Old Town of Krakow so handy for all the sights, shops etc. Less than a 10 minute walk from the main railway station if you come from the airport that way. Room was spacious, good bathroom (shower a bit weedy though), plenty of heat if you like the room warm but easy to control via thermostat. There's a restaurant downstairs (pizzeria) but the food is not all that brilliant and there's not a lot of room at breakfast if all guests decide to come down at once, so get there early!!

Nice room, pleasant reception, excellent breakfast. However, it was disappointing to realize that hotel was inaccessible by car. Wasted a lot of time to reach the hotel with the help of the GPS, but unable to do so. Customers should be warned to find a parking place of their choice before coming to the hotel.

Great location, good facilities & breakfast range
Friendly staff, good breakfast range and quality. Great location - right near Florian Gate, which is about 10 minutes walk from central bus/train station. Rooms are nice and quiet.

Lovely hotel close to centre.
Lovely hotel situated very close to the main square in Krakow. The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. A wide selection of food was available for breakfast and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was conveniently located to the meeting point for several free walking tours and a short walk to the main square. I loved the location! The on site restaurant was a great place to get a quick dinner before heading out for evening activities. Additionally, the staff was very helpful when I had questions.

Hotel very close to main square.
Great hotel, lovely staff and fantastic location!!! Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful and spoke English. WiFi signal was hit and miss as we stayed in a room towards the back. Stay at the back of the hotel if you want quiet as it gets rowdy on the weekend. Lovely spacious, clean, large room with air con.

The hotel was very central and near the Market Square. Breakfast was lovely and varied. Only draw back was the stairs, we new their was no elevator when we booked, however we were on the third floor with sixty very steep steps to our room

Small hotel at the gate , convenient location
V good location directly on the Florianska street. Rooms are clean though compact. I like it is real hot water in the shower. Breakfast is very basic. However u will find lots of cafes or fast food chains just outside. Good staff and check in or out is quick without the usual fuzz. Would stay here again if I come back again.

Great location
The Hotel Floryan is a big old building located in the Old Town, on Florianska (St.), with the Florian Gate within 50 yards in one direction, and the main Market Sq. (Rynek Glowny), about 500yards away in the other. The Galeria Krakowska, a huge shopping mall, giving access to the train/bus stations is 500 yards beyond the Florian Gate. With the hotel being on a busy street with a plethora of bars, shops and restaurants, it's in an ideal tourist location. The hotel consists of 3 storeys, and a basement occupied by the Vesuvio Restaurant, which was closed , I presume, to the time of year of our visit. On the round floor is Reception, a small bar area, and breakfast/dining room, which leads to an interlinked accommodation block. The 1st and 2nd floors of the main building are bedrooms. Our en suite rooms were on the 1st floor and were clean comfortable and surprisingly warm in the cold February nights. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot/cold breakfast was varied in choice and set us up for the day. Room tip: the rooms facing Florianska (St.) are quite noisy at night with revellers and early morning garbage collections!

Great location
The rooms were charming, the staff hospitable and a lovely breakfast buffet was included. The beds were so comfortable- I had the best sleep of my whole trip! Krakow was a wonderful escape!!

Hotel was comfortable and close to everything but as our room was at the front of the building there was noise 24/7. The McDonalds opposite was open until 5am and the Kebab shop 24/7. Nice visit to Krakow but little sleep for 4 nights. Would visit city again but stay outwith the Old Town

A fantastic GEM of a hotel!
This hotel is a jewel!!! The location is superb, the staff is friendly and very accommodating, the complimentary breakfast was fantastic (and included lots of fresh fruit!) and our bedroom and bath were very comfortable and modern. Everything was spotless and towels/linens better than expected. One blemish - which was not the fault of the hotel - was noisy construction which began at 3:30 one morning and continued until daybreak. WHY??? Are there no regulations in Krakow? I asked at the desk - after losing the better part of one night's sleep - and was told the situation is not regulated by the town, unfortunately.

Floryan is in the perfect location to explore the beautiful city of Krakow. Rooms were clean and breakfast was plentiful. Potential minus for some: no lifts (it's a long walk up to the 3rd floor with luggage)

In the heart of vibrant Krakow
In the heart of the old city of Krakow, full of beautiful historic buildings and museums and vibrant modern life. The room was spacious with a view of the street and the constant action below. The hotel has a modest entrance just inside the beautiful Florian Gate in the ancient wall that surrounds the old city and a block from the great market square, with endless open air cafes, horse-drawn carriages and all the ambience of a great and well-preserved historical city. Shop for great deals on amber jewelry and hand-made chocolates.

Pick of the bunch
Having never been to Krakow it was a take a chance on hotels, but this hotel could have been picked for us. It is just inside the old city wall, only 4/5 mins. walk to the main square, everything was on hand. Walking tours, trams, cafe and restaurants all historic sites only a short walk. So this hotel had all boxes ticked would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in this pleasant city.

Centrally located convenient hotel
Hotel is central so easy to get to from main square. There are no elevators, so big suitcases should avoid top floors! Breakfast is reasonable- bread, cheese, ham, cereal, coffee and some cake too. Room is ok- a little small and ours were on the top floor with 1 skylight and 2 very small windows, so couldn't see out to street. It's comfortable but can be a bit noisy outside as there are bars outside.

Upon Arrival, my daughter left her cell phone in taxi. Hotel Clerk Klaudia was so very helpful, got a hold of taxi company, located driver and arranged for the cell phone to be returned to the hotel while we were unpacking. Staff were so very helpful in every way. bathroom was very nice, large, clean with shower and tub. Most of all we would like to express our gratitude to Klaudia, she was always very pleasant, had a big smile and was willing to go the extra mile for any of our requests. She made a big impact on our visit to Krakow.
