The staff was fantastic and had the Fijian hospitality to the max.If wasn't for them, the place would suffer. Did find that the maintenance of certain areas needed T.L.C. All in all it is a beautiful and very family orientated Resort and we would go back there again.

Price is high compared to the room conditions. Needs to be total upgrade.staff is very cooperative and humble. Rest is good.Check in and out was very quick.Everyone was nice to all customers.

This place is lovely, the beach is right on the doorstep. The rooms are spacious and the staff are wonderful. I was apprehensive before I left because of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised at every turn. Very well worth the money.

Outstanding hospitality - you can easily develop friendships with the staff that could last a life time! Wonderful location near service stations and towns, convenient parking, excellent choice of food and beverages. The only thing stopping it being perfect is the very limited wifi network.

This is a second visit to this resort. the ocean front burres were beautiful however we arrived late at night with no water in the room ! Finally fixed after lunch ! The room has stunning views and great snorkeling out front. The resort pool area is run down and needs retiling and proper cleaning especially with a bunch of Aussie 16 year old footballers staying. and taking over the pool. The food was terrible very limited and not good quality. Ended up with Fiji Belly the last night from dinner not pleasant when travelling home. The spa was fab and enjoyed massages and facial. The staff were kind and very helpful which made our trip there good so cant thank them enough for their helpful concerns. Overall location and rooms are a stand out but poor food quality and resort maintenance needs to be addressed.

Have stayed few times now and used to be our favourite place for holiday. Property has not been maintained after covid. We asked for milk in room it came 2 hours later. Shower was leaking all night, air con was too filthy to use. Powerpoint had electrical shot, fan only worked at one speed. No internet or TV in rooms. Only positive was the restaurant staff were very good.

Firstly most staff were amazing. Secondly the food from the kitchen was at 5 star price and we sent back 6 meals that were inedible. 2 meals and 2 starters were up to restaurant standard. Breakfast buffet was not enough to call a buffet. There was a lack of entertainment and equality of what is done for different guests, very poor form. Everywhere you look there was maintainance required, even down to toilet doors you cant close. Others complained of bare hot electrical wires hangingout of the wall but they wouldnt put people in the renivated units, it was accept what is given. Activities you cant do need removing from the website. Get the Suva Express for $10 instead of a $100 transfer. Could have been great but management needs to spend money. Not bad but many are better

Great family holiday with 2 kids - we stayed a week and we all absolutely loved this resort, from the warm welcome with smiles, bula and a refreshing tropical juice, till we reluctantly left to go back home, accompanied by a roll of traditional drums and lovely staff members waving goodbye at the car. The staff are amazing, kind , helpful and made us feel special . The location is great, right on a coral beach with plenty of snorkelling and kayak opportunities ( equipment is available at no cost) . Sunsets are awesome and picture perfect. There are lots of activities to keep you entertained and help make new friends. I loved the aqua gym and the sun dance at 12, they made me feel part of a lovely community. The swimming pool is gorgeous and the slide is fun ( very fast though !) . The food is ok and the Japanese restaurant is fantastic. Breakfast is abundant and varied. The Bure have everything you need and are set in a luscious and well kept tropical garden. We visited other resorts for the day and found them very impersonal , fancy but not authentic, and were happy to go back to our Hideaway where we felt we were really in Fiji. We will definitely visit this resort again! Vinaka !

The surroundings are immense sand sea trees breeze beautiful our disappointment rooms are run down sinks are dirty vanity bench way low we asked for soaps towels never reached our room till check out fan broken down called for repairs no show ceiling fan soiled linen way past due date dirty linen front office staff lost the BULA smile food no good not recommending to anyone

Its is great location and sea bath in the evenings is a great fun. clam and clean place. However, not happy with the food menu and choices. Even the breakfasts was not that great. no much activities are planned by the hotel.

To say this resort is tired and rundown is an understatement. It’s clear that no money has been spent on it post Covid. We stayed in a Beachfront Bure and it wasn’t like the photos. We had mould in the shower and housekeeping barely cleaned the room. Our toddlers feet were constantly black. No towels in the room upon check in and after calling to request some it took a long time for them to arrive (hours) and when they did, they didn’t supply any for our children. Wifi only in the main area which does not reach the rooms. It was unfortunate that Cyclone Mal went through during our stay. We were ill informed and strangely staff boarded up the vacant rooms but wouldn’t board up our windows even though we had two children under two & were beachfront. The outdoor bath was unusable due to the dirt and debris from the cyclone and nobody cleaned it up. The resort lost power and their generator malfunctioned. Each staff member would tell us a different story. After 17 hours of no power, no room phone, flat mobiles, no shower, stifling hot Bure and two cranky babies who couldn’t sleep, we moved resorts so we could get some comfort and air conditioning. The arrangement was that the Hideaway would pay for our two nights accommodation at the alternate resort but we needed to pay upfront and then go through Expedia to recoup the funds….the hideaway have retracted their word now that we are back home & told Expedia they would only refund two unused nights at their resort.

The location is fabulous, however having transport allows access to multiple attractions. The beach, pool and surrounds were very accessible with snorkeling and kayaking off the beach.

Loved the beachfront bures with the hammock chair on the lanai. Perfect for relaxing. Spacious, clean units. Dining area and pool are a bit tired, could use some updating but the food was great!

We had an absolute amazing time at the Hideaway! The staff are incredible, lots of fun activities to do within the resort. Definitely recommend getting to know the locals as they recommend fun things to do outside of the resort. Buffet breakfast was delish and we enjoyed our meals in the resort. Suggest going into a main town for groceries/snacks plus getting a Fiji SIM card as the wifi doesn’t cover the whole resort.
