Fiji Accommodation

My wife and I had just got back from Fiji. We stayed at the Radison Blu Denarau for 5 days. We really love it at this hotel. It was everything that we expected and much more. Staff were very friendly and always go the extra mile to tend to our needs. The only thing that we didn't like was not having a separate pool for adults only. But if you 're going there with kids, then the Radison Blu is perfect place for you. They have kids club and activities all day long. Our garden view room was very clean, spacious and comfortable for our stay. Their standard is comparable to the American luxury hotels, like the Hilton in Waikoloa on Big Island of Hawaii. The food and drinks are priced for a luxury hotels standard. If you want cheaper food, try the restaurants and cafes at Denarau port (take the Bula Bus) or next door Wyndham Resort, (2mins walk). If you taking a taxi to Nadi town, watch out as the driver will take you a over priced handicraft shop. The shop assistants will lure you into buying their overpriced handicrafts with a kava ceremony and sweet talk. Best place to buy souvenirs is the Nadi town centre handicraft or the market. Also, make sure that the wood is fumigated for custom clearance. There are few conman in the town, don't accept free wooden gift souvenirs as they will charge you to engrave your name on the wood. Overall it was great trip and we really enjoyed the Radison Blu and their friendly staffs. We're definitely going back soon. Bula!
