Hotel was conveniently located near the train station in a safe and clean area. The Deutsche Eck, rivers, and other attractions are a pleasant 30 minute stroll. I was early for my check-in, but the staff allowed me to store my bags. The room was ready promptly at 2:00. The breakfast service was good with lots of options. The room was clean, modern, but it would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room. The WiFi was a bit spotty and could only get a strong signal near the room door. Despite these, I would definitely stay again

Fine stay
Very close to main train station, on a quiet street (our room was back side, away from trains) with restaurants nearby and a 10 min walk from pedestrian areas toward Deutsches Eck. Good dinner at hotel's restaurant.

Stay was fine! Good for the price and location
Staff was nice. Good location right across the street from the train station. About 20 min walk to the Rhein and Biergartens. Stayed here so we could easily drive out to Burg and Eltz castle, Cochem castle, and Geierlay bridge. If you decide to rent a car and do the same trip make sure you figure out how a ride from the car rental place back to the hotel. Uber doesn’t exist here and a taxi was very hard to get!

Nice breakfast but I could hear all that was going on next door, below me and above me. I suspect that maybe people who book via Expedia get the worst rooms (out the back), and frankly they are terrible. Room smelt of damp too. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

the hotel was cheap, very near to Hbf, loads of food nearby. the only thing that`s not so good is the fly that appear at night :( but overall it`s good hotel

Great location if arriving by train
Nice hotel in an older building that has been renovated. Very new lift/elevator in building, so don't fear if you're on a higher floor. Room was very warm and stuffy upon our arrival, but very large windows that opened eliminated that problem rather quickly. Beds were nice and comfortable. Front desk people friendly and helpful. Bathroom layout was a bit odd, but manageable. Less than a block from the main train station, very easy to get luggage to and fro. Would certainly stay here again.

Close to Koblenz HBF
Great hotel and easy to find next to the train station. Walking distance to most city attractions, though we used a bus once. Decent bathroom if small. Great staff. Comfortable beds.

Good location
Good location. Great Wi-Fi (15Mbs), but fell out about every 10 minutes. During our stay TV was not working, but was offered free breakfast as compensation from day 2. Located close to the train station.

Quiet night's sleep, close to train station
This hotel was convenient to the train station, which was our motive for booking it. We got in late and left early and didn't have to walk very far wheeling our luggage. The room was small, and the shower was TINY, but it served it's purpose for one quiet night's sleep. The hotel staff was very helpful and stowed our luggage for the day while we toured by boat.

We spent only one night at the hotel, however we can say it was excellent. Room was impeccable, simple but spacious with comfortable beds. Hotel personnel was in general ok - Gilbert was of great help indicating the best place for ice cream in town and providing other directions. Thanks Gilbert! Breakfast was excellent. The location in the city is convenient - it's not in downtown but a few steps from Hauptbanhof, which makes it an easy 15 minutes walk to the old town for a fraction of the price, the area is tranquil and convenient for transportation - the main bus station is also very close if you don't want to walk or depend on trains. Only two missing things: A/C and a safe.

Not a bad hotel, except that the rooms are not air conditioned. To a typicall US of A tourist that is a deal breaker. I had the very bad luck of spending 2 nights here in July while a heat wave took the termometer to 99, at night!! and suffered for it. Otherwise the rooms are nicely remodeled, big flat tv, clean sheets and bathroom (tub with half glass curtain, so be careful where you point your hand held shower head!). Not a repeat for me.

Nice hotel on quite street near old town
Hotel is very clean and lovely. It's not a grand hotel, but rather a family style albergo. Common areas are small, but room was large and comfy. Very contemporary clean lines design. Overall great hotel. Don't consider it though if you are handicapped. There is no ramp and bathroom has a step up (why !!!!!!!?????). MT

I liked it. it was conveniently located. Good food at the hotel restaurant..staff were great but the check out was not. Bike storage was safe and dry.. A variety in breakfast foods and plenty..the hotel is old and the lift opening is too narrow and slow..the hallway is also too narrow. The room was large but the carpet was old..

very very old....needs updating.
At a certain point, carpet that is decades old cannot be cleaned anymore. This hotel needs remodeling. The service is good, restaurant is great, price was good. I would probably only recommend this if you are really pinching pennies on your trip.

Two blocks from the Main Bahnhof so great for travel by train. About 15 minutes to the shores of the Rhine through the interesting promenades of Koblenz. A 7 Euro taxi ride from the KD dock if you're traveling by boat which is a great way to do a " Rhine river Cruise" or go up the Moselle. Our only demerit is that the room/bathroom in particular was small but certainly clean etc. A great location for exploring Koblenz and moving about by train or boat.

A very well located hotel which was quite comfortable but in a rather noisy area. It was a hot night and we had to open all the windows which overlook a big square. We had to put a chair in front of the bathroom door as we kept tripping over the ledge going into and out of the bathroom. We wished there had been tea making facilities which even the humblest UK hotel provides. Not sure why they had a locked fridge in the room. The furniture was somewhat worn and cheap looking. The people were nice and helpful. The restaurant was fine.

Dismal hotel in a dismal town
Ignore descriptions of Koblenz as a "hidden gem" - the town is dull and down at heel, with a very small area of attraction/ interest that I would certainly not describe as gemlike. Hotel was inexpensive, but felt dismal due to aging decor and location a good walk from the "main attractions" of Koblenz (but very handy for the station). It was clean and staff were pleasant, and breakfast was good. But I would recommend neither the town nor the hotel.
