Room was nice but air conditioning was not working good and when I told desk manager Patrick about the problem (which he didn’t seem to concerned about) and then looked me dead in the eye and said to shut it off for an hour or two and then put it back on because it’s freezing up….. uhhh yea …. No way I’ll shut it off in 89 degree weather for an hr or two ! It was blowing cold it was just too small a unit for that room ! Been here a couple times and loved it but this time for the one night I stayed it was not good due to being in a hot room.. thanks Patrick

Nice rooms and pool Clean Walking distance to Duval street and many other shops & restaurants. If you have difficulty with stairs ask for a first floor room. There is no elevator. Recommend this hotel Don’t forget sunscreen and enjoy!

We had broken blinds on our door that I had to cover with a washcloth for privacy. They should’ve been replaced along with the broken blinds on our window. Also, one ceiling fan could only operate on low…. A higher speed and it would vibrate to the point of concern. Having said that, we very much enjoyed our stay, and would absolutely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Heron house. The hotel grounds are well maintained and beautifully landscaped, just a couple blocks from the world’s famous Duval street! There were a few cosmetic imperfections on the walls in our room, due to scuffs but the room was clean and the bed was comfy, so that’s a win in my book. We would def recommend staying at the Heron House and look forward to booking again in the future.

This is a stunning little hotel in a great location! The grounds and room were gorgeous! The staff was fantastic! We did happen to have bugs in our room, though, on the bathroom sill- reminded me of mealworms And really it seem like a fluke. I don’t suspect it’s a normal problem there. And the water pressure was really low. But I still think I’d stay there again.

I loved the Heton House. Greeted with great staff. Absolutely lovely room. The grounds were beautiful, including a cat meandering around. :) The breakfast was wonderful. Quiet area but close the all the bars and restaurants, which wete in walking distance. Definitely recommend !

Each room is unique and very well appointed. The rooms and common areas are well maintained and clean. However the calking around the tub in our room is poorly done and walpaper is peeling where it leaks. A surprising disapointment in an otherwise exceptional facility.

The initial person at check-in oversold breakfast, it was just hard boiled egg, cereal, bread and yogurt. When things went wrong management was very responsive (hours without hot water, some rooms lost electricity) you felt safe, pool is a nice touch, over hospitality was GOOD

We loved this quiet island feel property. This was so close to Duval but quiet. Pool and room were clean with the "keys charm" Louie at the front desk was awesome and very friendly. Private parking for scooters and bikes. Breakfast and coffee every morning poolside was great. We will definitely stay here again!

Easy walking distance tqo Duval St. Good breakfast and nice pool. Only drawback was parking. You drop your bags off, then have to find a place to park, which can be several blocks away.
