"The house was presented immaculately and the owners were just great to deal with. We were on a boys golf trip and the four beds accommodated us well. The property is situated in a really nice quiet area. The house had everything we needed including a nice clean bbq and sky sports. This house is perfect for any group of 4 and I would highly recommend it. We really enjoyed our time there and look forward to coming back again one day."

"Very comfortable, ideal for a couple, excellent location - close to town but in pleasant, green surroundings. It's a bit cold for winter occupation but extra heaters are available if needed. The steep driveway might be a bit much for anyone with mobility issues. We would be happy to rent the property again, in warmer weather."

"A beautiful location to stay for 5 nights, close to Russell, private and quiet. The big let down was cleanliness. Mould in the shower, dead insects in the corners and on windowsills. Soap splash from previous guests on tiles in bathroom. Several small blood spots on fitted sheet. Awful pillows, old and lumpy. These things are so fixable!"

"The cottage was clean and well stocked. It was a great location to go to glow worm caves, the stone store, rainbow falls, old town of Russel or a day on the ocean in the bay of plenty. It was very nice to know after a long day of exploring you could go back to a clean comfortable and quiet place to rest for next day of adventure."

"The cottage was so lovely and peaceful being set in extensive gardens and well away from the road. It was also close to many natural attractions - lots to explore around this area. A couple of foot stools or easy chairs would make it more comfortable for lounging at night."
