“Shereton”

This was a great hotel. It had a few things to do outside the hotel. Staff was very friendly. Hotel parking and business center was expensive. It was twice as expensive compared to hotels within a 2 mile radius.

“In Memory of ......”

This hotel has changed a bit in the lobby since that day in July 1981 when the skywalks collapsed, killing 114 people and injuring others. I was working at The Kansas City Star then and remember that disaster very well. The newspaper won a Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the Hyatt and the aftermath. I think it would be appropriate and in good taste for there to be a small plaque in the lobby noting the deaths and injuries of so many people and how building design has changed since. Today, the lobby looks quite safe, and I am sure it is. The Hyatt Regency disaster has gone down as one that has raised building safety to a much higher standard.

“Great service”

The hotel and staff were nice. The shuttle to/from the football game was convienent but a little pricey. I liked that we were able to walk to the mall without going outside. There are very few places to eat close by, however, unless you eat in the hotel restaurant.

“Pricey, but good”

Great Hotel, it is the second time we have stayed here and will stay again when in Kansas City. Check in was quick and easy, Valet is expensive but useful and the room was very nice with a great view of downtown.

“Great hotel for weekend in KC.”

Excellent location by Crown Center and very close to Power and Light District in one direction and Plaza in the other. Parking and walking area felt very safe. Excellent bed in large room. Our room was on 34th floor so we had a great night view of KC. Plenty of high speed elevators to get us to our floor.

“saradoeskansas”

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We happened to be there during the KC Christmas Tree lighting ceremony and we had a great time. I like that you can walk to most attractions without going outside.

“Clean”

Very clean, nice updated rooms. Felt so comfortable in there I walked around barefoot and sat on the floor.

“Special date with my ex wife...”

Ex wife and I needed a night out together. Its whatever but we honestly had a romantic day and evening in the hotel. Enjoyed the connecting walkway to crown center shops, and even union station all thru these glass walkways. The room was super clean and out favorite topic thick pillows. Movie list had alot of options. We have traveled the country together and we both agreed this was the best room service food we have ever had. Well done Sheraton staff...love this hotel. sean and lisa marie

“Cozy”

Updated and cozy rooms. Right across the street from Museums and shopping. Nice view of the city.
