“Good Hotel”

The hotel service is very good. Almost all facilities are provided. However, the quality of the materials are not very high. This hotel needs a good renovation.

“Good hotel but not the best for tourists”

The hotel itself is a bit dated, but still comfortable. They operate a shuttle from/to the airport, and anywhere else in Jo'burg by arrangement - it gets charged to your room. Braamfontein is a pretty safe neighborhood M-F 9-5 when everyone is about working. The hotel restaurant has a buffet and a menu for dinner, the charges for the buffet are steep, but the menu is reasonable. The neighborhood has other places to eat. The housekeeping staff are really keen and often knocked on my door between 8&9am - too early for me. Hotel has a nice 24th floor with fitness room, pool and lounge chairs - nice place to sit in the sun. Not a great hotel for winter as rooms have no heat. Hotel staff friendly and accommodating. They know very little about options for tourists, however, and don't really give directions or suggestions; it's very much a business hotel.

Service at check in was exceptional, very professional and friendly. Some staff were excellent while some others were not even close. Housekeeping was excellent, Room Service was quick and sent the correct orders. The food was moderate at best and we were surprised, we expected much better cuisine. The pastries and desserts were excellent though.

“Spacious Hotel Suites”

The hotel is centrally located in the downtown Johannesburg. Spacious suites with a wide office table, and sofa. Well maintain and feel very secure in the hotel. Good for business traveller and family vacation stay. The room rate seems a bit high, and most facilities are not included. The hotel provides Shuttle service, but we have to pay for it. Internet Wifi service is very poor, and breakfast is not included. They charged quite a high rate for the buffet in the restaurant.

“Not too Bad”

You need to have transport to stay here! The window fell off when we opened it up and we didnt have hot water 3 of the 5 times we went to shower. But the room was very spacious and it met our need

“Unfortunate location”

Neighborhood is not safe. Hotel is nice, but has little facilities. Mini gym. Bar is kind of basic. Just one restaurant. Nice rooftop pool for the summer...
