I think the property is overpriced in terms of rate. The rooms are small, there is limited parking for such a huge hotel in the middle of the city. The staff is horrible, I walked out the front door and back in so the receptionist felt the need to ask if she could assist me as if I did not belong there. I wasn’t even looking in her direction or looking around like I needed help. It made me feel uneasy.

Thank you for your comments. We are a historical landmark in Jefferson and are limited to what can be done to a historical building. We try to make parking easy for a downtown property by not charging for it as do most downtown hotels. It is courtesy to great and offer assistance to anyone that walks into our hotel. We apologize that the courtesy extended made you feel uncomfortable.

1) Hot tub was dangerously too hot (105-106 degrees) 2) Bed sheets were stained and needed changing 3) Fire alarm and 90 minute evacuation at 1AM

Hotel cancelled my stay for no reason. Took forever to get it straightened out. One worker that was overwhelmed and took an hour and a half to check in.

Excellent staff. The restaurant did was medics at best and quite pricey. The toilet paper dissident in the room was so far away that it was almost unreachable.

The hotel staff is very friendly and always greet you with a smile when you arrive in the lobby. Unfortunately, the bathroom in my room was not very clean--had a ring around the toilet. I stayed a week and you are to get a 'complete cleaning' on the 5th day. Unfortunately, they still didn't clean the toilet nor the floors. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

It was a very wonderful stay. The staff was super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable of the area for shopping and dining. Will not hesitate to stay here again. FYI the breakfast is awesome. The chicken we ordered for dinner was dry and not edible. Would not recommend the food from Sapphires.

it was a good quality stay. nothing spectacular stood out to me, but it was nice. Happy there was a pool and drinks/restaurant on site. Easily walkable to whatever I needed near the capital.
