"We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. "

"Hugh's house was so homey and comfortable! AMAZING views all around, sheep to watch out back. While remote, it's close to many famous trails and a cafe nearby. Great local craft show on Tuesdays, the Glendale Village Shop had wonderful local foods, and we could watch seals and otters along the coast of The Little Minch. "We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"What a great find. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. We stayed in one of the Cabins and it was prefect. Cabin had all the amenities one would for their stay. There is a wonderful restaurant, The Sprig, on property and the food was outstanding. Within a very short walk we found The Coffee Bothy which is a great place to grab coffee and breakfast. "

"The Kinloch Ainort Apartments were a joy - so peaceful with the sheep grazing and the quiet of the area. The apartments appear to be brand new. They are spacious and have everything you will need for a great stay. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot! We traveled to Broadford (15 minutes or so away) to get groceries at the CoOp. We also enjoyed a really good pizza at Cafetesia there. After visiting busy Portree on our trip around the Isle we are glad we chose a quieter place! "
