“Everything we expected”
This was a great hotel with everything we expected and more. The rooms were a decent size, clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was included and delicious. There was a restaurant and an excellent chef on the primisis. The food was delicious! Our room had a balcony complete with table and chairs which overlooked a view of the mountains. This was one of my favourite hotels and if we are ever in that area again it will be my first choice. The location was excellent for day trips. Warning however, smoking is permitted in the restaurant and bar.
“Staff was very courteous and spoke english very well.”
Would have been nice to know that the restaurant in the hotel was going to be under construction before the trip as there aren't a lot of restaurants in the immediate area. Otherwise the hotel was excellent and the shuttle service to the ski slopes was first rate! The staff was very attentive, spoke english, and the morning buffet was GREAT!!!
“Great please 10km outside Innsbruck”
Hotel Tyrol is a beautiful 35 year old hotel in Tyrol style. Very friendly, accommodating atmosphere, beautiful woodwork throughout the hotel give the hotel a very nice feel.
“Beautiful European hotel”
We were very fortunate to get the beautiful room that was featured in the hotel's brochure. It did not have a balcony but it had the leaded bay window. Everything was fine, interior and exterior. The only possible improvement would be more lighting in the bathroom because of its dark wood and tiles. An added bonus was the free internet.
“Pleasant stay”
We found the staff at the Hotel Tyrolis very helpful. Our room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Driving into Innsbruck was no problem--especially with the GPS to help.
“Very Impressed”
We stayed here just one night, but it was very nice. The scenery was beautiful and the the hotel itself is gorgeous. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
“The hotel was elegant!”
If visiting Innsbruck by car this is hotel is the place to stay. It is also near Imst a wonderful city. The hotel had beautiful woodwork, stained glass, and iron work. We were there the week they opened up the remodeled dinning room. The entire dinning room had wood carved walls, chairs, and ceilings; like what Americans think of as old world charm. The food was very (very) good and reasonably priced. Normally my family eats at local restaurants outside of hotel, but the food was so good we ate there every night (We stayed for four nights).The staff speaks English. We had a room with a balcony and the view of the mountain was wonderful.
“Great Hotel for Car Travellers”
This is a gorgeous tyrollean hotel. It is clean with plenty of available parking. There is no air conditoning but the rooms are very comfortable. There is a bus stop close to the hotel that goes to Innsbruck if you are reluctant to drive in the city.
“Beautiful!”
The hotel is located 9 km from Innsbruck making it very convenient and economical if your driving in. Would I stay there again, YES! Would I recommend this place, definitly YES! You won't be disappointed!
“Wonderrful!!!!!!”
This is a charming hotel just outside of Innsbruck. Super cool room, and the free breadfast was wonderful. The attached resturant had excellent food in the evening as well.
